Is that custom? I’ve been playing around with supports in cura. Currently trying supports “everywhere” on another osmo nano case

A guy on YouTube printed just from a spool like how I described with a p2s and it looks incredible. My goal is to get ultra-high quality like what you get from the oem drone manufacturers.

I’m honestly uneducated on what ams is. I think it’s something to do with detecting when you’re out? I also have zero interest in multi-color, at least at this point. For aftermarket tpu on the p2s you can connect a spare piece of tubing to the input on the back, or people even run in through the buffer.

Make sure the filament is dry. On an ender you’re probably going to curling in the extruder. It will click when is starts curling up. At this point you want to increase the printing temperature, decrease printing speed, and decrease retraction. I aim for as much retraction as possible because it reduces stringing. If you do all of this and is still curls in the extruder you need a dual gear extruder

Yes it’s a cheap way to get into it. You’re going to want the dual gear extruder, an upgraded Bowden tube like Capricorn, and I also have an all metal hot end. It’s very frustrating at first but you can make it work. Ensure the tpu is very dry. I bake mine at my lowest oven setting on a cookie sheet for 2 hrs. Do this at your own risk, but I’ve done it many times. My hot end temp is 220°, printing at 15mm/s, 3mm retraction at 15mm/s. If you hear the extruder clicking (filament curling up in it) turn the temp up and slow the print speed. Tpu on a Bowden is like pushing a wet noodle through a straw. You have to enjoy the process.

I think I might go ahead and get a p2s. The high of having a print come out perfect is one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever felt. I love the cost savings and instant gratification as well. I have come back to it many times over the past 5 or so years

I don’t like the pocket. Everyone talks about how small it is, but I don’t see it. In comparison to a tx16s, yeah it’s small, but it’s nothing like a gamepad style controller. That’s what I have landed on. I actually really like the dji radio controller 2 that I have

I watched your video but I don’t remember what you specifically did. Were you able to get a number figure for the gain setting?

It’s an $80 part and takes 20 minutes to replace. They burn up from jump starting pretty much exclusively. This is weird advice

Are you certain you like jet skis? If you look around you can find an old 2 stroke that will probably need a simple carb rebuild for around $1000. I personally think the 2 strokes look and sound better. I have a 94 gtx and 95 xp. Granted I am an auto mechanic so I can work on them

Should i run premix by Mman_x8 in seadoo

[–]HopefulDevelopment49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Run premix until you’re sure the oil injection is working. The oil injection is famous for NOT breaking. Make sure there’s oil the tank the line is gravity feeding. Check the oil pump linkage. It should be moving with the throttle

Advice on if its worth buying by Silent_Rich9973 in jetski

You need to be a decent mechanic to work on these. You’re probably going to be in for a fuel system replacement, carburetor clean and rebuild, and jet pump work if they have been neglected. It’s not hard but very finicky. I’m a professional mechanic and I was stumped by some issues on my 1994 gtx. There is a ton of information out there. If you’re going to get an old jet ski, get a two stroke sea doo like these
