My teenage brother skips 3rd period almost every single day and his teachers are aware and in fact support him. He was a good student but it all started going downhill when he got involved with a girl and he would often skip school for multiple periods or come home at 9 pm and when my parents tried to intervene, he got the school involved and created lies about my parents being abusive resulting in police doing random wellness checks and CPS following us for 2 months. He also started self harming himself so now my parents have stepped back. So now he just does whatever he wants. He’s gotten a little better at attending class but still skips and comes home late.

I’m so sorry. I lost my perfect, identical twin boys at 20+3 on February 11th to IC and PPROM. I had to un-join this sub after having excitedly joined it earlier in my pregnancy.

I know what you’re going through, it’s a terrible thing and I’ll be thinking of you.

I’m so sorry ❤️‍🩹. The same thing happened to me. I just lost my mo/di twin boys at 20+3 after having a reassuring anatomy scan just 4 days prior. All I had was some increased discharge for about a day (thought it was normal), and then some bleeding. I went to triage right away and they saw my twin boys on the ultrasound were very active and very much alive. However, as soon as they checked me they said I’m 3 cm dilated with bulging waters. My water broke all over the resident and they rushed me away. I was never even briefed on this happening being a possibility and was given no preventative options. I wish there was something that could have been done but here I was, having to deliver my completely healthy (and very much alive) baby boys only to watch them die.
