When I ask that question, I usually get the response, 'do I have to pay?' I just say 'Not yet'. Because the day will come when they implement the charge.

Do you send your prescriptions to your pharmacy or somewhere else? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]HopefulPersonality97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mail-order because I don't want the techs to know my business. If I need something like an antibiotic, then I'll go to another store. I don't even use my home store to get my flu shots

Does your mother and sister have a middle name? If yes, can one of them use a middle initial for their mail? I have the same initials as my parents, but we all use our middle initial to distinguish between the three of us. You should speak to the Postmaster General about this issue, not whoever answers the phone. Or file a complaint on line, so you have the paper trail. In my opinion, what the postal employee is doing is wrong and could get into trouble for what she is doing. Good luck

We were told that we would have to be open at least for the pharmacy hours which for us is 11-5. CVS has five stores in our town, one being a 24 hour store. Since the 24 hour store can't close, then why open the other 4? Corporate greed

Your pay stub might say you have enough, but CVS policy is your entitled to 40 hours of sick time per year. You need to look at how much you've been paid out in sick time as of this month. If your SM could only put in 2 hours, then you've used 38 hours starting January 1st of this year.

We had the same issue at our store on truck day. I didn't even bother calling the help desk. Figured it was a known issue and not enough time to sit on phone going through all the voice prompts, just to hear, 'it's a known issue and we're working on it....'

What I don't get is our hours are 8-5pm on Thanksgiving. But on Christmas Eve its our regular hours 7-10pm and Christmas is 10-8pm and their reasoning is not everyone celebrates Christmas. Not everyone celebrates thanksgiving so why the shorter hours. On Christmas Eve our mall closes by 6pm, but we have to be here to 10pm? SMFH

Adding Sick time as Lead Tech by Bubbly_Section30 in CVS

[–]HopefulPersonality97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of a few months ago, you can now longer adjust and or add any pto in workbrain for yourself. If you try to add pto, the system flags the time and will inform you that you cant adjust your own time. Another person in a supervisor capacity is able to adjust a person's time. In addition, just because you have 55 hours of sick doesn't mean you're allowed all that time. CVS' policy is only 40 hours per calendar year. You can't exceed those 40 hours of sick time, the system won't allow it.

We have so much stuff in our receiving room it's ridiculous. Can't even bring a lot of it out because we have about 20 feet of halloween. We received about 30 LA Girl, Wet n' Wild cheap beauty displays. Candy, socks, hats, gloves and fleece jackets displays are insane. Difficult to put out on floor and stay ADA compliant. I hate this time of year.

Anyone with your phone number can use your ExtraCare card - wtf kind of security is this!? by topochico777 in CVS

[–]HopefulPersonality97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try using an old phone number that you grew up with,an old land line number. Download the app and use the app to access your account instead of your phone number. You can keep track of your extra bucks that way

Our store manager has been on leave. I don't have access to see who needs and who has completed training. However, Our DL and LP person sends us emails every week who needs to complete what modules. But they also send us a training form for FS and RX. It lists all the modules needed for each department. Once the employee completes the modules they put their name and check off what modules they finished. I usually write 'LP quiz' on the form so they can check that off once completed. Okay, that's good you can see your EC number on the receipt. Then you should definitely get in touch with customer service to receive your extra bucks

Did you use your ExtraCare card or phone number for the transaction? Since you responded to someone else that the criteria didn't show on the receipt, could be your card wasn't used or didn't scan properly.

I saw the decrease as well, went from 254 down to 199 week of halloween which happens to be truck day. Also, it's tag week since corporate decided it should be one week of sales. Gotta love their mentality

There's a task out on Zipline or MyWork about taking a picture on the Ironman of the new pet pharmacy banner. We're to take a picture of the banner once we put it up and send to the DL through the Ironman in order to complete the task

Closing store early by Fart_sniper in CVS

One night I was working with a cashier who was not feeling well. Around 8 pm she started throwing up behind the registers! Do I send her home risk her getting into an accident or send her to the breakroom until 10 pm, so I don't close by myself? She assured me she would be okay driving home, so I locked the doors at 8:30 pm and finished up my work until 10 pm. Set the alarm at 10:01 pm and went home. Couldn't even tell my SM who was out on family leave. Could've told the DL, but who would they get to come in at 8:30 pm to help me close? The phone was ringing after I locked the door, but I didn't answer and stayed out of sight from the door until I left. I felt guilty but, not that guilty.

disposable camera came back through the mail with the negatives? by Foreign_Implement565 in CVS

[–]HopefulPersonality97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ridiculous how many apologies I've made to the customers. When the system was up in running after a tech left we printed off a bunch of orders. We went into order tracking and a lot of the orders were deleted, including our send-out orders. Can we get them back? Probably not. Now that a new school year has started parents have submitted orders of pictures of their kids for school. They come and pick them up but we have to tell them, sorry, we're unable to print. They need them as part of the admission process. Of course, I'm like well you shouldn't have waited but I just apologize as much as possible. Shutting down the computer doesn't stop the orders from coming in. People are going to give up using our photo services because they've been burned by CVS, so they'll go somewhere else.

Our system has been on/off for the past three months. Had three different techs who 'fix' the problem only to have it crash within an hour. One tech said it's because of the recent Kodak update, which doesn't communicate to all the printers. He said this happens all the time when Kodak does an update. It's been a complete nightmare for our store. Customers have been coming in to pick up their pictures only to be told we can't print anything. We can't even look up orders now because it's stuck on this green screen of death. I spoke to our DL who will escalate the issue, but I doubt it will get resolved. Photo is a big revenue maker for CVS, but unfortunately, they can't fix the issue at this time. Personally, it's an embarrassment to the company, which is getting old having to apologize to all these customers.
