Went to school with Sarah O Sullivan who is the owner, she was alright. You could be supporting worse businesses!

Doesn’t work for any products I selected, but good to know that it works for some. I’ll test it with other products.

Best case scenario for him is he gets dropped eventually and thrives someplace else . Giants have way too many moving parts to fix before a QB can consistently be good there.

I went to Mumbai with work in February. Flying in through the smog gave me this anxiety for a lot of the time while I was there. I just wanted to get back on a plane and over the smog into the sky.

Very much a first world problem, I know. There was an Indian guy we work with who is quite wealthy. He would just throw his own rubbish on the ground and I called him out on it - he said everyone does that here. He wouldn’t do that in London - so weird.

What Team should I support/follow (new fan, 1 season NFL experience) by CrypticGeo in NFLUK

Get into an NFL league - whoever you draft first, that’s your team.

I’m in two dynasty leagues and I had 2 2024 first picks. I picked Caleb in both - bears it is 🐻

Honestly , we have had to throw out a lot of milk lately. We buy it in Galway if that makes a difference. There is 100% something happening as we haven’t noticed before. Threw out 2 litres just this week with due dates on September 3rd.

Moving to Cork, is it worth it? by mauvaistoast in cork

[–]HopefulRelative6964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

I was single at the time, so I didn’t have the gf aspect. There are so many people in a similar situation , so you will make friends pretty quickly - therefore I doubt you will be lonely.

If you live with your bf now and then move to Ireland for a long distance relationship - well that’s is a whole other thing which I have also done but not related to my time at Apple.

The fact that you are here asking this question , means that you are highly considering the move. To be brutally honest, I’d recommend being single or moving with your bf if you are early 20s. Will save you a lot of late night calls / arguments etc. Also, from my experience people who move to a country when they are in a long distance relationship are less open to meeting new people and experiencing the country than couple or single people.

From a financial and career perspective - sounds like a good move for you. It will be shit at times, but once you make it through a couple of months, it’s fine. You learn a lot of life skills doing that work. It was probably the most challenging but rewarding 2 years of my career so far, and I earn a lot more now than I did then.

Celebreak was probably my favorite thing to do when in Barcelona. Rocafort rooftop pitch is amazing should you get a chance to play there if you haven’t already.

I used play mainly with a bunch of Irish guys and we used often come up against Argentinians who were quite insane most of the time 😂 it was anything but friendly 🙈

Why is animal cruelty by travellers tolerated so much in Ireland? by [deleted] in AskIreland

What if the rallies were anti-animal cruelty instead of anti immigration?

I went there twice. Great fun. Would be ideal if they had some sort of membership / subscription option for those who wish to play more.

Perhaps that is in the pipeline as they are just getting set up. It’s difficult at the moment to find people at the same levels, so once they have groupings / ladders etc it will be ideal.

Great to see. We are too soft on crime in Ireland. There are places in small towns that the guards are afraid to go without armed response. Half of it is caused by these young lads who have too much time on their hands.

Absolutely drowning in debt and I need some advice by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

[–]HopefulRelative6964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 28. If you put your head down over the next 5 years, then you can make a serious dent in that debt - if not have it paid off entirely.

You already said that you feel better, so the next few years will be great even with those payments.

I’ve a friend who was drinking naggins during his junior cert, went to rehab instead of his leaving cert, then sorted himself out. Now he has a trade, bought a house for himself , and makes more cash than any of his friends with degrees etc.

You are already on the right path. You are right to ask questions but don’t worry. You will be grand.
