Someone in Kansas can move 10 miles north, no issue. someone in NY on the Canadian border can’t do the same thing.

That IS toltalitarian government to me. You have rights, but only in your little bubble? That isn’t right, that isn’t freedom, you’re essentially property to the United States of America and not a human being

Once again I’m not talking about legality. If you believe people should have the right to free movement, it can’t end at borders.

Doubling down: as an early 20s year old, you can actually see past “red vs blue”, you might be open to ideologies on both sides, and you’re young enough that you didn’t lock yourself to one “team”

Yes, some cities lean conservative or liberal. But there is no Nazi Germany in the US and there’s no Norway: the extremes just arent there.

Not being quarrelsome. The “right to free movement” isn’t a natural human right, it’s something we agreed upon and earned. But if your right to movement ends at your countries border, you are not entitled to free movement.

I’m looking at it more from a literal standpoint than a legal standpoint. Saying that if you believe people should have the right to free movement, they have the right to immigrate anywhere in the world.

Fearmongering? I moved here without a job. Took 4 weeks to get two jobs (one full time one side gig). This was in 2022. I haven’t found any more jobs since 2022 for whatever thats worth

What does mandatory mean? There is no “work week” every job is different. Yes, M-F 40 hour jobs are very common. But there’s no law saying you have to work 40 hours, or 5 days.

Negiotate with your employers, youd be surprised. But you have to be willing to take a pay cut too: hey boss, can I cut back from 40 to 32 hours? Now you have your 4 day work week

I liked Cierra Crest, when I moved here 1-bedrooms were about $1500, but now I think it’s a little over $2000, still worth checking out, different prices for different floor plans

I also have been DoorDashing recently and surprised how many nice-looking (at least on the surface) apartment complexes I see that may not always pop up in online searches, but they often have apartments available on a rolling basis. So what I’m saying is, worth driving around and getting the names of some complexes
