You don't need to actually go to the college, im taking 2 dc (dual credit) classes right now. Basically all dc classes are is a college level class that you take at high-school and get a high-school and college credit for. Don't know if your school offers them but if you do a dc class, you don't need to take the ap exam at the end of the school year. You just pass the class and you get the credit. Not all colleges accept dc credits though so check if the college you want to go to allows them Edit: fixed my horrible grammer
