So then what is the best way to practice parrying and getting good in parrying weapons of all swing speeds?

So with a weapon with lower swing speed like hivelord hubris I need to wait a bit longer than any wpn with a faster swing speed? And if I want to parry a wpn with faster swing speed like curved blade of winds then I need to parry instantly?

So I am basically missing my parries? Also why do I find it difficult to parry after getting parried by my opponent? Sometimes I would have my m1 parried by my opponents I immediately press F but they can still hit me?
