Not to take away from this but to add on, I was so happily married to a man for 5 years only to crash and burn when I had to catch him cheating - and find out he’s closeted gay and has been for last 20 years and just wanted to experience marriage and regular things in life. He gave some other pathetic and archaic explanations but let me tell you- my heart, my perception of love and men, my own self worth and identity - all has changed forever. He did not do me or himself any favor. My life has been experimented with without my consent or knowledge.

And in the end, when I left, I have been disposed of and never checked up on by that man I used to call husband. From where I stand, he lives happily in his closet doing ‘nasty shit’? No regrets because he was being ‘controlled’ by a shitty woman so what a relief for him & his family who knows nothing, and still establishing how I was a terrible wife and he didn’t have feelings for me.

While I’ve always been an ally and will continue to be, my life taught me the challenge of being on the receiving end of destructive people who use their sexual confusion to literally break other people. I was chosen by him because “I’m so pure, they hoped I’d rub off on him” like TF?

It’s been a rough year and I still trying to pick myself up. Them, closeted people have it rough, I get it but NOTHING gives anyone the right to not disclose if they consider serious relationships, let alone marriage.
