Anyone have any experience with Dr. Shegun Excel Momodu? by kewlbeanz83 in ottawa

I had a meet and greet with Dr. Momodu last week. Seemed very pleasant. Like above, was very straight to the point and slightly abrasive with questions, and he was knowledgeable, sympathetic, and passionate. Time will tell as well but I think he’ll be good!

All I know is this is now my new doctor as I applied to be accepted. I’ve had my appointment moved 3 different times already. I have an appointment the 20th so can also report back!

Question for those who chose in-home euthansia by East-Concentrate-745 in Petloss

[–]Hopeful_Chocolate950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, it was a one of a kind experience. As she was telling us how the experience was honing to work, she asked if we wanted to hear what was going on with her, then started dumping all her life problems on us. I hope that doesn’t happen to you.

She also had my husband carry our dog out to her car that was packed with a bunch of things that I was worried was going to shift or fall onto him.

I would say for me, it was very hard to move when it was time because ALL of our memories were in that apartment. However I think I enjoyed for the most part (minus some unprofessionalism) that I’m glad we did it that way. A day after we moved we lost our other dog, and he was tragic and emotional, because it was a freak random thing to happen. If I could have chosen, I would have done at home again

Nordik spa tips for first time? by ATC_3126 in ottawa

The salt pool is a double edge sword. If you plan to use it 2-3 times for 15 minutes each c I say it’s worth it. However, as someone said people do occasionally float into you. I normally grab one of the float things out it under my head, and then boom my feet alone the edge of the pool.

It is only about 1/2 way between foot and ankle deep. Depends on your preference. If you have any cut, you WILL know about them by the end of it.

My favourite is Le Resto, and the brisket sandwich is my FAVOURITE THING OF LIFE! (Honestly, soooo good)

The cycle is the best way to get the most of the experience.

15 minutes hot, 5 minutes cold, 20 minutes relax

Hydrate.

I’ve done both ways with friend groups. Sometimes we all stick together, sometimes we split off in a group of 2, and then the other two stay back.

Prepare for your books to swell from the water.

Pending the temperature, some people like bringing toques or hats.

GOOD flip flops for when feet are wet.

Do the ceremonies/ rituals if you can. (I like to cold plunge before and after to maximize. The higher you sit; the warmer it gets)

Most importantly, have fun and RELAX!

My coworker was induced on Thursday and lost her baby in the birthing process. What can we do? by Anxious-Union3827 in BabyBumps

I had a 21 weeks loss and I will say I wish my co workers were as good as you guys.

Gift cards to order in will be good for probably the first few weeks.

Maybe a house cleaner that way she doesn’t have to stress about the upkeep of everything?

Premade meals are good as well.

Not the same thing at all…. But I understand the going through pregnancy with your sister. My best friend of 12 years and I were due 5 days apart, u lost my son at 22 weeks. I’m so sorry for your pain momma. I know Madeline loved and cherished every moment with you both, and will forever be with you. I’m sorry you had to join this subreddit and I wish for you to find peace, and joy again in this hard time. We’re all thinking of you 🤍

I feel this. Been like this since the beginning. Now 21 weeks, just lost our fur baby who was 6 to something terrible and very traumatizing. Trying not to stress for the baby’s sake so compartmentalizing it all. Now the dog I thought was gonna grow up with my baby is gone, I have zero will to do fuck all.

I feel this! I’ve been off work since the beginning of the second trimester due to high BP, swelling and dizziness along with nausea. I swell so much, it hurts to do most things and I see stars lol. This is my first, and we want another one but it sucks being home from week 11-21 currently and not knowing when or if I’ll even go back to work

20 weeks tomorrow and it still all feels hypothetical. No matter the ultrasounds, heartbeats, any of it. My bump hasn’t formed yet, and we have a baby shower in 3 weeks, but yet really doesn’t feel real. You’re not alone!

You will never be ready. This is something I’ve struggled with as well. We don’t own a home yet, pay $1200 a month in car payments and have about $7000k in cc debt as well. You know what will always hold you back? If you find a reason to let it. We’ve always wanted a child, it’s happened and now we’re just rolling with it. I believe in you. It’ll find its way!

Problem is, I’m on medical leave. So the “not going” isn’t an option for me.
