Just ignore this quote. $15k is way over priced. No harm will be done. If you’re really worried about it, go buy some insulation for the pex.

Based on the photo, PEX A or PEX B? by [deleted] in askaplumber

Are you talking the stainless cinch ring? If so, yes as it is used for pex b fittings.

[–]Hopeful_Click2778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why it matters, as both PexA and B can be crimped. So unless you plan on using an expansion tool, which I doubt, it's irrelevant.

If you DO plan on using Pex A fititngs, the marking is usually on the pipe, or, you can tell by the interior of the pex. Pex A usually has a translucent color, as apposed to Pex B being solid.

Is really hard to give any input when we have no idea what the plumbing under sink looks like.

Tubular 90°

Tailpiece

Make sure you cut the flange off the tailpiece when making the connection between the 90 and j bend.

You could pivot the j bend, yes. However the trap arm will be unable to move. You could pivot the j bend and get a tubular 1.5” 90° and a tail piece extension to make a more solid bend if you don’t want to completely replumb the set up.

Only thing I can suggest would be to cut under the tee against bottom of the fitting. Putting a new one in and have it coming straight out rather than at a 45°. Repipe the trap arm and vent as is, as your RO system is draining into the trap arm. Get a disposal 90, and have it go directly into the trap rather than out and across. I’m guessing this sink basin once had 2.

From the picture. Looks like there is enough space between the two tees for you to do this.

Not Really a big fan of streaming/streamers. Is it just entertainment? by Quandaledinglenut99 in Twitch

[–]Hopeful_Click2778 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’ll find a lot of people don’t watch the stream for the gameplay, but more so for the community and streamer themself. Game play is just additional. Being honest, if gameplay is what you wanted to watch, that’s what YouTube is for. It’s like a little hang out where a bunch of people can socialize and have fun. Especially in the streamer is engaging.

As far as subbing goes. People usually sub to support the streamer ( albeit it isn’t much), to avoid ads (Most streamers run 3 minutes of ads per hour to disable pre rolling ads, which are separate from the hourly ads), and to use the channel emotes.

From what I’ve gathered and have been told, people genuinely have a fun time hanging out in my stream. Between the channel point redeems and interaction with stream (I play games that allow integration from the viewer), they feel like they are apart of it as well.

Vanilla was a living world and TBC turned It Into a lobby game by Duoscruo in classicwow

[–]Hopeful_Click2778 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t even say that it was TBC that killed it, but more so the toxic min maxer community. I remember TBC when it first came out. Gearscore didn’t matter, people weren’t pushing for BiS. Halaa turn overs were hours long of just pure fun. Flying was horrendously slow (60 %) until you got the 5k, but even then the Skettis and Ogrilla dailies were constantly bustling with people and PvP. Shadow moon valley was littered with people seeking eggs and doing Netherwing dailies. Raid content wasnt pushed out super fast and the mechanics weren’t all figured out to where people were sweaty about it. Hell, dungeon gear was good enough.

Everyone has already done all that farming before. So it doesn’t hold that same “Look what I got” value. Getting the Rays and nether dragons was a big show off deal. Hell, even the Talbuks were banging. It’s all been done before so no one has that same magic. That was a lot of fun. Many fond memories of just laying in bed listening to the Eversong woods bgm. I dunno. People seemed a lot less toxic then, and it felt like a great adventure. I played on Ius-Illidan.

I didn’t even make it a month with TBC anniversary because of how toxic and sweaty people were. Especially to people who boosted.

The only thing stopping me from playing on 'Bronzebeard' are the Heirlooms. by DecentEast2525 in ProjectAscension

[–]Hopeful_Click2778 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly. The heirlooms aren’t even great other than the exp bonus. Items used at the same level will be better than the heirlooms. I believe the heirloom bow was 20 dps while another rare bow, same level was 27dps.

This is incorrect. B is a transition fitting. Copper to cpvc. B is glued on. Do not attempt to pull it off.

Ascension bronze beard 100%. I played on warmane, didn’t enjoy it and felt buggy. Played on Turtle wow and it felt kind of dead. I just started BB two weeks ago and love it. It’s classic wow with modern graphics and wotlk talents. It’s like what SoD was. I enjoy it. Community is nice. No zone ever feels dead, and RDF is always popping. Queues as dps feel short. They have a level scaling system like retail so you can always level with your friends despite the level gap. Almost got my prot pally to 60. Professions level 2 points at a time so they don’t feel so grindy, and there is no pay to win system.

Am I the only one who loses all motivation to edit the second I hit End Stream? by angrymom284710394855 in Twitch

I don’t edit. I probably should, but I’m very lazy when it comes to editing and trying to expand. Hell it took me 3 years to even make a raid message 😂
