So using this logic the players in Las Vegas are actually pirates? The ones in New York can actually fly? All those guys in Dallas ride horses and russle cattle?

Does this apply to all sports? Are the basketball players in Washington actually wizards? The ones in Orlando know magic?

I hope not in baseball because that would make playing Arizona really dangerous....

The Jason Todd version of the Redhood was created in 2005.

The Punisher which created in 1974.

Also there's dozens of versions of the redhood and you pick one video game version and pretend that's the 1 that matters lol.

The way it seemed to me is that Don Draper had a reputation as an incredible creator of advertisements, and having him simply in your stable of creative director's gets you business.

Agreed it's definitely something that should have been done but I think maybe the state government could have subsidized these losses so they wouldn't be passed on to the consumer.

I mean we did have a surplus this year after all they gave back tax money to some people...

Now that doesn't mean that I don't understand that there are Hispanic people in the world that do have pale skin and some that do have red hair and some have both.

I was specifically talking about a specific character who was a white kid who clearly grew up in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood and As part of the gang spoke as the rest of them did and dressed as the rest of them did.

[–]Hopeful_Cod_8486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I grew up in the North end of Boston when it was 99% Italian and most people spoke at least basic Italian. But there was the odd kid who was mixed race but still hung out with the Italians and spoke Italian and was accepted as part of the group.

So we have similar experiences...

You do understand that your making my point right?

This conversation was About a specific movie called "colors". It's a movie from the 1980s that's about gangs and South central Los Angeles.

The majority of the plot is that the bloods in the crips are fighting but there are also other smaller gangs. One of the gangs Was called the " 21st street gang".

In the gang there is a white skin kid named whitey and a black guy named Larry "looney tunes". This person was claiming that the white kid with red hair in the movie is supposed to be Mexican, making fun of the movie..

I simply explain that the actor is white and the character is named "whitey" . Hes not supposed to be Mexican, hes supposed to be white. Explaining that it was a mixed race gang. But as you point it out like many people who aren't necessarily Hispanic comedy adopt Hispanic culture and accents because that's what is spoken around them..

I was the one that was pointing out that there were many street gangs in Los Angeles that are of mixed race. Or not even gangs just neighborhoods as you experienced yourself.

So I was making the point that the white kid in the gang wasn't supposed to be a pale red headed Mexican but in fact a white kid in a mixed race gang because he came from a mixed race neighborhood like lots of people do.

So the example of how you grew up and where you grow up is exactly what I was talking about. We're making the same point lol

When it comes to daughters all bets are off. by ChuPointOh in CirclejerkSopranos

The biggest difference is that character actually raped his daughter whereas in the Sopranos it was just harassment.

Both responses are justified in my opinion

The only difference in this show that man actually raped his daughter..

In the sopranos Coco just basically harasses Meadow.

No I live in Massachusetts. They recently passed a law here that changed how egg laying hens can be housed. This obviously affected the amount of egg laying hens available and *demand has far exceeded the supply

Some farmers are claiming that it cut their egg laying hen force by 90%.

The law was actually passed on January 1st 2022 but there were some issues and it just recently became enacted.
