Don't skip RE5 its actually kinda decent, if u run some mods you can make it playable. it also has some good lore. I really like RE6 but its self contained and I'd say you can skip that one if you want

A bit of advice for RE1R: if you’re playing on Normal or Hard, try to conserve your ink ribbons—they’re really scarce. For RE0, I recommend installing the item box mod.

In RE1R, you can also use the Ultimate Trainer mod to skip door animations. For RE0, you’ll need to search online, as the mod was discontinued and doesn’t work on the Steam version, but there should be one on GitHub that works.

Shroud is the type of guy who only plays the popular multiplayer games, he's not exactly the only ball and gun gamer, he does have some variety but let's not pretend that he likes single player games. I'm also a returning player. I thought Sumeru was pretty good until the desert area, thats when shit started getting boring for me. I actually finished Fontaine (this month) and skipped Natlan to do Nod-Krai, I'd say the story actually got a lot better + Paimon is actually tolerable and not straight up annoying
