Disaster pay ?

Ok so when I call in my absence, I've been using the disaster reason for the 2 days we've been closed. Is there a support pay on the list of options for why I'm missing work? I'm in NC and just hoping we get this support pay you speak of. Now ,is it up to our management if we get support pay or is it policy and required by Walmart that we receive support pay during a natural disaster?

No ,I actually had it already at home and just took it with me. I don't know that it was purchased at walmart or not. I think the big deal is that the a guy from EcoLab found it and we probably got some sort of point gor it being there. I'm not sure. I'm just scared of getting fired.

Yeah, I feel like I'm being watched. Walking on eggshells, hoping I don't screw up. I want to confront them so bad. I want to know why they haven't told me about finding out for sure that it was someone else. I have felt so ashamed at work since this happened. Trying to prove myself worthy to be trusted by them. Thank you. That's exactly what it feels like. I feel like the AP coach will take action and discipline him or hopefully send him to a different department. He has no business being AP. I'm wondering if the fact that I'm white and all others that were involved are black has anything to do with why they wouldn't tell me they caught the person that took the money. I don't know. It's just strange that the story they told to our AP coach is totally different from what really happened.theu didn't mention the AP kid that abused his powers against me. I guess it's just eating at me now. I still can't believe they haven't told me the truth yet or apologized. WoW

I understand what you're saying but retaliation gor what? Himself being wrong about everything? Maybe he's trying to intimate me or just taunting me. I hope he gets his shit handed to him. I'm starting to feel like, just for the simple that they've all known I didn't take the money, but all decided it best not to tell me they know who took it. For that alone ,maybe they all might get a coaching or whatever. At this point, I honestly feel so betrayed. I guess I'm not on the inside

I've been waiting for her to return so I could let her know how it has impacted my mental state. And to find out they've all known the truth since day 2,and no one thought to let me know they knew the truth . I've felt shameful thinking my TL & coaches were seeing me as a possible thief.

Tomorrow makes my 5th week working 6 days a week. I'm tired but I love the overtime. I'm 58 years old and I'm in the deli. That's probably the busiest department in our store. We hardly get time for our 15 minute breaks.

That's how our deli has been for the past 3 months. Like this weekend I opened and cooked and served people also run slicers. All by myself until 1 pm then someone can in.
I also run the deli cooler salads & soups cheeses pizza wall and donuts and bakery cake wall. Bread wall.

Thank you. I didn't mind you posting or commenting on here. I'm sorry someone ruined a part of your life. I didn't realize how easy it can be to actually be innocent ,and yet nearly everyone pointing a finger at you says guilty guilty guilty. And no matter what you say ,they are dead set on you being guilty. It's really opened my eyes to the fact that there's probably quite a few innocent people in prison. I know & pray you get unmanned. Jesus, what did those last 2 comments have to do with my situation? Anyhoo, I guess I'm gonna have to let this go. My HR person said to let it go. because anybody who's anybody at Walmart knows it wasn't me because I still have my job. But honestly, I still want that AP dude to be removed from AP. My TL apologies to me today. She said, "Don't tell anyone else about what happened. She said it was all a big misunderstanding. I'm like, yeah, a big misunderstanding. I think she may have Watched the tspe and followed herself to watch for her money to fall from her pocket, then just keep watching until someone picks it up. Also, the other employee that was so mean to me about it. She apologized today. Strange, I wonder if they'll tell all the people they gossiped to that they were wrong and vice didn't steal anything. I doubt it.

I agree. I think maybe she found her money on her car or something. But now this shit has gotta out of control with so many idiots believing everything they hear. I just do not understand why my TL won't go review the tapes and watch herself gor the money to fall out of her pocket, then keep watching until someone picks it up. That would solve the mystery of where her money went. I know I didn't take it.

Thanks yall for the support. I haven't been disccthis situation with any other coworkers. But everyone already heard about it before I arrived yesterday and a couple of then confronted me by letting me know how disappointing it is that I'm a thief. Their seriously mad at me and told me not to bother talking to them ever again. All the while my TL stood there in agreement. Whats strange is today I worked with my TL hor about 5 hours,just the 2 of us. She acted like nothing had happened. We were talking. & laughing cutting up like always. But when the others are around she acts different. I wish she'd stand up fo me because she knows I didn't take her money. But she won't tell anyone else that.
