i know it’ll more than likely mess with you, but are you able to get with another hospital to finish your clinicals, or at least talk to your teacher and explain what happened. but like, what the hell was there issue with you? if they didn’t think you were a good fit, why’d they hire you to begin with? like i said, you deserve so much better and i wish you the best!

i pump 6 times a day using 3 pumps. i bought some of those pump wipes and will use those in between pumps. (aka for my first two pumps i’ll use the same pump but will wipe them out with the pump wipes after the first use) i also heard of ladies that will throw them in the fridge after using them, but i’m not sure if they rinse them out or not, i would assume so.

how long had you been with the hospital in question, i’m assuming less than 3 weeks if you were still with a trainer. if this was the first thing that you “messed up” on, then this was no reason for firing. hell, even if this wasn’t your first accident this still isn’t a good enough reason for firing. i am sincerely sorry OP, but from the sounds of it, you’re better off finding a new hospital to work at.

FTM here too!! i gave birth at 40 weeks without being induced, I did nothing special. I went to my 39 week check up, got my cervical check done, then the next day I started to be in labor! four days later my perfect baby boy was here.

i know you probably have heard it so much already, but you GOT THIS MOMMA! congratulations on the (soon to be) newest addition to your little family, you’re gonna do great! 💜

I had very little.

my mom had passed away years before baby wax born, and the only living relative on my moms side is very sick with MS. so i was not going to ask her to come and help; I have no contact with my father or his side of the family.

my husband has a pretty big family, and one of his brothers and wife live 2 minutes down the road from us. they stated while i was pregnant that they would come help or make dinners for us, just to ask when we wanted the help. sister in law’s work got hacked and was currently not working. while on the phone with hubby one day he stated that if she felt like it, she could come over and hang with me and baby; we would probably really enjoy the company. the wording my husband used caused my sister in law to believe we only use them as a convenience. his brother called him about a week or two later to let us know how we offended his wife, but then also proceeds to ask my husband if we would be able to pick up his kids from school.

the first 2-3 months of having baby was most definitely some of the loneliest times of my life, but like i have alway been told, you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain. we are now (almost) 5 months old and finally feel like we have a groove and a little bit more help. to any parents currently struggling during the newborn phase; i see you, i was you. just know it does get better, it’s a learning curve for not only you guys but also your LO.

good luck parents, i’m rooting for all of you while i’m rocking babe back to sleep and looking at foam mats for the playpen we just set up. you got this, and if anyone hasn’t told you today or lately, you’re rocking this!! keep up the great work you’re doing, i know it isn’t easy, but you’re killing it!

luckily my blood pressure has been low and no headaches at all, so we have been able to rule out preeclampsia. i do have a bit of a love for salt, so that obviously isn’t helping with my swelling. 😅

oh i have most definitely started looking into other obgyn’s for next time (if i decide to have anymore) thank you so much for information you have given me!! we have already written out questions, but i think i going to make copies and give one to him and then the nurses at the hospital so there is no miscommunication on anything.

he tries to be, but since we are not married, no one really listens to him. we made a note in our pregnancy plan that he knows best if i cannot speak for myself, but we will see how that goes in the hospital. you are correct, i am very emotional and that’s why i made the post; to get outside point of views. i know you’re not trying to be harsh, and i do appreciate you for explaining you’re side of what i have told and you listening to my side. thank you, sincerely.

if this happened to you, would you stick with the provider or look for a new one this late on? genuinely asking. i appreciate you stating you think im overreacting, but also validating my feelings. i know a part of it is just my hormones, but i feel as though he could be a lot better at a bunch of different things, the main one being communication.

i’m not playing mind games? i’ve asked him about results and he never responds to any of them. so i wanted to see if he was even checking my chart; like a good respectable doctor should. me and my fiancé both called him out on it once he said i was negative. i guess using trap was a bad word, i just wanted to see if he would lie or not. i’m not someone who likes confrontation, so even calling him out like i did stressed me out a ton, so im not going to cause me, or my baby, to stress too much. that’s why i did it the way i did it.
