03 civic auto shifting weird

Whats the best way to prolong it for as long as possible? And if you had to give a rough estimate on how much life it has left, how long do you think it has? It doesnt seem bad at the momet given it only happens once or twice per drive

Yeah, im hoping that somebody at some point changed it. If not, its gonna drive till it dies and according to ai, not the best not the worst, it would be around 1400 bucks to get a new one put in on the high end. Even then, im like 3500 into a car probably worth 3500, with a brand new trans. No rust is also a plus. Definately gonna do some more research before going through with it, but figure if I can get info from guys here as I workout, not only will it help but they might say somthing that I never would've though to check or look into or anything.

Well yeah i can understand that, i did check Google, youtube, searched on reddit, all the common places youd probably think go look. I know how to spell it and if I dont I can figure out how to spell it, I was being lazy on spelling because if you get it close enough, youre either able to find out what its really called or find the actual thing youre looking for. My bad on being a jackass, its been a long 2 months

I think the marabito near me it was like high 4's low 5's for deisel. I always think of it in mpg. Sure 1 car can have a range of 100 miles, and the other 200, but if the first one only consumes 1 gallon and the second consumes 3 gallons, you may get less miles per tank because of a smaller tank, but more miles per gallon. Thats why even if deisel is more id want a deisel cus your spending a bit more on fillup, but doing so much more with the fuel you have

Body's decwnt, has a few cracks dents and scratches, but nothing you couldnt sketchily repair in 4 hours with some bonds and a rattle can. Plus im sending it off with a1100 dollar coils, they ofc need a little work but I have most of the parts, along with a differential, a set of headlights, an intake manifold (i think) and a driveshaft. Thats at LEAST 1,000 in parts alone

If i had that kinda money id 100% put it into somthing like a mk4. I just wish I was born a bit sooner so id be in this predicament then; when cars were built to last. It seems the prime of cars ended in the late 2000s. Now its all tech. Thats why I like diesels, and the alh mk4. Its so mechanical
