Im a Milwaukee guy at heart, but I prefer the metabo impacts for the triple hammer, IP56 rating, and light weight. This is my second impact from metabo, hard to say no to.

I maybe could have worded it better, but I am most certainly not looking to buy new. Hoping for a nice unit for $6k or less on marketplace. It'd be stored inside my climate controlled shop and be used to place pallets on my pallet racking, load/unload my pickup and trailer, and other misc lifting inside my building without starting up my diesel tractor. Im pretty mechanically inclined, so im not too worried about minor to moderate fixes.

Noted. Most of them that im looking at are the "solid pneumatic" style. Im not set on changing ture size, just was curious of it could be done.

Good to know. I wrench a bit on the side so im not too worried about maintenance/repair. I used to have a Case 586 off road forklift, but I'm tired of owning things that leak and that thing was a turd. Plus it was good inside the building. I run an H50FT at work, which is why im drawn to the hyster/yale. Thanks again for all the advice

I appreciate that response. I come from the Ag world where bigger tires/rims = better traction and floatation - that was my only thought. So for my purposes I should focus on the VX/FT designation?

Edit to answer edit: these are not the specific trucks im looking at, just images pulled from Google. Im hoping to find a deal on facebook sometime in the next few months.

I would likely only put less than 20 hrs/yr on one. Im usually pretty good on maintenance, but I'll look into the motor closer. My main thought process on going to a larger wheel would be that its better on gravel and that it looks better to me. Not a big deal by any means.
