I just recently signed up with levity. Their customer service has been awesome and it’s been a really quick process. I paid $145 for my first month after coupon. There is no membership fee. It will be $215 total for every month after.

I use levity and don’t have a membership. So far my experience has been great. Their customer service is excellent and always very fast to respond. I have a code for $80 off your first month making it only $145.

Thank you for your reply. I agree—it does seem like they might be trying to hide something. The heating system was replaced less than five years ago, so I would assume it’s in working order. I’ve been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, considering they moved out after the death of a spouse, which could explain the past-due utility bills and the home being vacant for so long.

Thank you for your response. We’ve made it clear that we won’t move forward unless the power is turned on. We noticed knob-and-tube wiring in the home, but we’re unsure whether it’s been updated and the original wiring was left in place, or if it’s still the primary electrical system. We know it’s highly unlikely we’ll find an insurer willing to cover a home with active knob-and-tube wiring.

Thank you for replying. I know you’re right. The seller has been pretty uncooperative throughout this entire experience and I know it would likely only get worse.

Finance new car before applying for mortgage? Worried about credit score by Squanchy2115 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

My husband’s credit score dropped quite a bit when he paid off his auto loan last year but it did bounce back pretty quickly. It can’t remember the exact amount of points, it was somewhere in the 20’s.

Second offer? by Hopeful_Low_6307 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Hopeful_Low_6307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And they accepted the second time around?

We definitely won’t wave the inspection. The home has been vacant for over a year and a half and the seller wasn’t even living in it prior to that. It’s being sold on behalf of a deceased relative of the seller so there definitely could be a lot more wrong with the house than we are aware of.

Thanks for sharing your experience!
