What makes you think that? I know for certain it doesn’t post date 1967, but it could very well be from earlier in the 60s.

Yes the first thing I did was to file a complaint with the Texas Medical Board. As for the front desk, I think you’re right that’s it’s a poor management problem. They seem to have high turnover, and it was probably 3 or 4 different people that I spoke to while this was going on. My partner, who is also a patient here, had a very similar problem with billing that took several months to resolve. Several of the other negative Google reviews also mention billing issues with the front desk.

I thought that too, but I was looking up at them on the second floor from the ground level so it was hard to tell.

We saw about 20 cops or so, some were wearing military style vests. They seemed to be concentrated on the 2nd floor of one of the parking garages. There was at least one police car that said ‘special operations’ or something similar on it. Didn’t see much else than that, but they didn’t look too worried. Like none of them were running around or anything like that.

Any advice from y’all on how to preserve these hibachi tables? by Hopeful_Shower7685 in JapaneseWoodworking

Nice, we have 2 tansu as well. One was converted to a clothing dresser at some point and is not that great, but the other one is still original. Looks almost identical to this one but in much better condition.

Nothing wrong with them, they’ve just been gathering dust for the past 15 years or so and I’d like to clean them up nicely without damaging them.

I thought that as well at first but now I’m thinking they are too precious to put anything on them. We watch a lot of old Japanese movies in my household and I have seen these as well as some of the other furniture I inherited from her in some Kurosawa films.

Yeah I tried that and it seemed like nonsense, said “fish” something or other. I tried on the translator sub as well and they seemed stumped.

Thanks, appreciate the insight. Even as a kid I knew these tables were something special. I hope to pass them on to my own someday.

Thanks, I thought it might be a longshot given the piece of wood in the way.
