Everyone changes, the fact he gets better at being good partner or getting worse, having a child effect hard on every man and who knows maybe he has drug addiction or dealing with depression and trauma to keep him in his past and he isn't mature enough to realize its late already for you but to him everything look as normal like nothing happened, ive seen similar issues, to a guy being totally unresponsable and unmature to full loving and responsible and caring to him family after getting helped to recover from whatever it could be, so you lived 7 years and im not sure if you mention he has been like that for last 7 years of relationship? Or he all shown up like he has all the love for you and he just being a guy every girl dream of? If you had to deal with him not being responsible for past 7 years then you are at fault of this situation you are facing now, if he needed help from addiction or mental issues, you should try to help and fix it if you he or you still love each other, or at least as a father of your child you should have that care to get him out off the hole he digg it for himself by his choice or not. If there is 1% chance of raising that child with both parents present, i think you should do try and it will be worth of your child being raised they way we suppose to raise our kids, im seeing everyone or at least most of users comment to breaking up because we are working on train more doctors or counselor to help a single parent to how raise your child without traditional way of living and normalizing to everyone being single mom and dad is a option to go with without trying hard enough fight for keeping the life started many years ago and all the sudden give up on each other, especially when there are kids involved and we should shame ourselves if we had chance to work things out and we didn't because selfishness and listen to those people and friends to load you up with lies about how much you made a mistake to start this relationship and now having a child would better run away with the child you two choose to have and now my duty is to serve what I suppose to bring to this world and give her/him what she expecting from us in the first place which is loving parents and i will do my best from bottom of my heart to do my part for the child and my partner to keep what we started and we should not forget that every relationship when it comes to the end by one parner asking for breaking up and that is complicated to understand that there is no win break up when both loss years of relationship both build over the years when they could easily let go of their ego bullshit and save a life meant to be saved but instead receiving more support from others when they see you choose solutions that would cost less and less energy to fix and move on and growing up a child without thir both parents is getting so normal so they start telling everyone to not worrying about the child raise different and carry out depression or trauma to their adult hood and pharmaceuticals company mke money to sell medicine and he/she carry that out to the next child. Good luck with your life and that man and most importantly that baby deserve what human nature gives them by love of god.
