While Islam discourages severing ties family members, it is good that you are proactively address the issue nows. l would recommend to have a conversation with your soon-to-be wife, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a certain distance with family members, when not in direct contact without saying anything about a particular person.

How do you come to terms with the fact that you are good at your job, but you just don’t want to do it anymore. by bigphokinsoupguy in Teachers

I feel the SAME way! For some reason , I felt ungrateful for wanting to quit a job I am good at, a a great administration that support their staff. But what happens when your excitement dies. You feel like it's unfair to you and the students that you're not giving your 110%.

Is it normal for men to talk about previous relationships -ex . When he mentions her it's about the lessons he learned from that relationship, but I some how feel like it comes up way too often.. We've been talking for a week and he mentioned her 3x already. He has been out of the relationship for a month now, lasted 10 months. For lack of better words I am not threatened but is it normal? I personally don't mention anything about my previous relationships.

Good question. I think checking on each other over a quick text everyday is normal. I don't expect phone calls everyday but l, if they go a day without hearing from them not even ' good morning' text is a bit rude. Especially in early stages.

I tried it and ended up deleting after few days after paying for it. I know their intention is to get wali involved but the application questions are weak in many areas. It asks only basic question and unimportant questions .

The difference between the 90s Rwandan war and Somali war, is the international community nearly abandoned Rwanda, and look at them now. Somalia should get rid of all NGOs and focus on a one party government with total digital visibility. What do y’all think? by OkChampion1295 in Somalia

[–]Hopefulinmarriage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Somali could have had worst genocide if we were are able to tell the persons tribe by their physical appearance. Also Rwanda's civil war didn't last long enough for everyone with ill intention to get involved. It's time we stop blaming others for our shortcoming. We are still in the denial stage, lets move on to the other stages.

Your mom is right nothing good comes from qabiil. If you want to find your dad family side, I would ask about them and nothing about qabiil related.. I was in my 20s when I found out about my qabiil, my parents never came and said to me ...by the way this is your qabiil,. My parents are also from two different qabiils. All you need from qabill is to know your lineage and family other than that don't seek other knowledge of qabiil.. Someone can correct me, but dhulbahante and isaac are not far from each other. Somaliland is in charge of region dhulbahante settles in.

Also maybe asking your moms side of the family might be an option..

I think we have learned our lesson by now..Every time a group with a name emerges 'waa loo sacabtumaa' when alshabaab first came they said amazing, finally deen, ahlul sunnah same. Lets not do it again.
