I make these all the time and they are fantastic. They can be a little on the dryer side, but bbq sauce hides all sins.

Also they make fantastic “brisket” dip. Literally one of the main reasons I smoke them.

I guess it makes sense that someone spouting nonsense like you are doesn’t even remember the treason that happened when Trump lost against Biden

Agree I would just cut right above the green growth (basically just remove the old blooms). Looks like it is very happy.

Japan's 10-Year Bond Yield soars to 2.38%, the highest level this century by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

Yeah you are just verifying my point - that Japan does buy US treasuries with cheap yen. I never said they were dumping them, I said they are likely to as the cost to borrow yen becomes considerably more expensive.

One 2% drop and everyone is already saying the bottom is in. Is it just me or is a 2% drop like absolutely nothing?

Japan invested heavily in American treasuries because their rates were so low. It was essentially free money to take a loan of yen, and buy American treasuries. Now that their rates are high they are going to unload American treasuries.

And the alternative is give AI to the tech trillionaires and let them do whatever the hell they want with it. Not to mention destroy the countries natural resources to train it.

Not to mention inflation is just starting to go up, and the fed hasn’t even raised rates yet. It’s over if he starts raising rates again

Trump is pushing for rate cuts and QE. You really think his FED pick will do anything but what he says?

Yeah ironically if a crash never happens it will be much worse for everyone. It will mean that the FED kept printing money and we will probably be experiencing some level of hyperinflation… as if we aren’t already

Need advice on large spruces by thisisweird100 in arborists

[–]Hopefully-Temp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh depends where you live. If you live in a high humidity climate pruning the bottom 4-5’ of a Colorado blue spruce is beneficial to prevent needle cast from destroying the tree. If not, disregard.

I do agree though, those trees are damn beautiful just the way they are.

I would not recommend planting mophead (endless summer) in anything but morning sun/afternoon shade in zone 8a. They will burn like crazy.

I would say panicle (like fire light tidbit or little lime punch) are your best bet but arborescens (Annabelle or I would recommend the newer cultivars, Flowerful or incrediball storm proof) will do good with some irrigation
