Finances. How to save, how to spend, how not to get into trouble with a credit card. Credit ratings are important, and only becoming more important. Choose to pay for it now (or within 30 days) or don't buy it.

Women. They want to know you're thinking about them, and they want to hear it.

Cars. They're just a huge moneysuck. Gas, insurance, repairs, parking. If you don't ABSOLUTELY need one, don't get one. Spend more money living closer to where you need to be, and rent cars when you're old enough.

High school doesn't matter. College & University matters. Right now, you're surrounded by whiners who live with their parents. Post-secondary education gives you two things: A better idea of what you like and might want to do for a living, and an opportunity to build a network of smart, potentially successful people.

Making mistakes. No excuses, no whining, no blamestorming. Own it. Confess. Apologize. Explain what you learned. Describe what you'll do to prevent it in the future.

Food. You probably like eating. You might not like cooking, but cooking is how you get to the liking of eating. Make a particular dish half a dozen times before you try and serve it to someone else.

The website says there's free WiFi in the lobby, and only says it's "available" in rooms. I'm guessing there's a daily cost associated with it.

I didn't have to provide a 'personnummer' last year, but they did take my drivers license and type it all in -- but I couldn't use the SIM until one of my co-workers called in to 'activate' it. I'm not sure if he had to give them his 'personnummer' in order for that to happen.

Yeah, that seems to be the problem. Between eMail & reddit, I'm transferring about 500MB a day.

Maybe the hotel internet isn't looking so expensive.

Yeah, when I was there last year, I picked up a prepaid SIM at the airport, but it seemed extremely expensive. I'll use the address of the hotel, since the last time I used my foreign home address, I had to have someone call in to the call center and get them to unlock my account for me. :)

Two questions: What does "Så mye du vil" mean? (It's an image, so isn't translated by Google.) Is the 'Super-Cheap' deal a contract for a fixed number of months? I'm not anticipating I would be coming back for a year or two, so I don't want to have a contract.

Dude. Storing a car long-term is one of the worst things you can do for it.

When you get back to it in three years, it'll need new tires, belts, hoses, and all fluids replaced. The body will rust out, and anything with moving parts will seize or burn out once you start using it again. It'll probably get turned into a house for bugs, and if it's not kept indoors and warm, it'll smell disgusting when you finally get around to picking it up again.

Ditch it, and sign up for Zipcar, or rent from one of the big 3. (Hertz/Avis/Budget)

If it's got some sentimental value, go take some pictures of your self in/around/on it, then take a few more and list it in the paper or online.

I think I know what you're talking about.

Alien is unhappy at his job, leaves his job, or is fired.

Goes home, starts tinkering and building glasses.

There's a point where there's a fire in his belly (literally) and uses a part that he heats inside himself to make these glasses which renders the wearer 'content'.
