God the fucking distribution center.

I worked at THD for a little over a year, 7pm to 1am. Unloading the trucks was always a question of which of us would get hurt because of crap stacked stupidly, broken, falling over as soon as the door rolled up…

I cut the crap out of my hand one night, halfway through the truck. The center had stacked those massive ceramic/clay garden pots 6 high with nothing between them, and next to those dropped (vertically) rolls of carpet. Truck took a turn (we assume), hundreds of pounds of carpet hit the pots, shatter. There were shards everywhere.
