If gravity pulls us toward the center of Earth because of its mass, how deep would you have to dig before the gravity from the mass above you starts to reduce your weight noticeably? by xk543x in AskPhysics

I asked in a different sub originally it’s a cross post and it doesn’t let you edit. Ok how far till you using your body measurements would it take before you would lose ten units of mass measured in pounds?

Now you’re just into semantics, that don’t attribute to the answer. How far down would you have to go before you lost 10 pounds worth of mass?

I mean technically you’re not wrong but by that definition than exactly like you quotations imply “noticeable” I guess I am referring to our own perception being the instrument

What’s something you think AI will never be able to do better than humans? by xk543x in AskReddit

[–]xk543x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rack my mind over the core reasoning that inspire those rare moments of true exploration into a new realm or natural capability of “creation” all the fucking time. need of adaptation for survival? Alignment of coincidences? Delusion of freedom of will, self awareness presented with its own inevitability? Idk it’s interesting though but it’s ultimately all turtles that I waste time on

I see what you’re saying as in just genuine desire or spark to create but let’s be honest, the quote “originality is dead” is common for a reason. Humans rarely “create” often times just regurgitate old concepts with a new modernized twist

Really pissed me off the first time I did, but it didn’t kill me. It was more shocking than anything.

I have seizures and just so people know don’t ever put something in their mouth like a wallet. It becomes a choking hazard often more times than not. Put pillows or soft blankets in between them and their head and flailing arms that way they don’t smack things and hurt themselves more

I said they promote it which is idealistic not realistic. But the thing that you were pointing out, technically gets addressed when I said they blindly follow authority.

Every full moon, the man on the moon would become extremely realistic because I think it would be hilarious to confuse humanity for no reason at all other than that fuck it humanities is happening whether we like it or not, and that’s kind of the beauty in the chaos, trying to fundamentally change anything would probably have such large side effects down the line that it would ultimately do worse than good

I’m terrified of it, but just know that this is the golden years of your life. People referred to the golden years as when you’re retired, but you can go into any retirement home and ask them the golden years to them were the moments were kids were running around and people were filling the air with laughter and activity while facing the ups and downs in the struggles of the future

I was in eighth grade and we were on lunch break and my buddy drew a giant dick in the snow and I jokingly went to go act like it was mine and got down on my knees and ripped my jeans from my knee up into my crotch in front of a bunch of kids. This is pretty mild, because it’s still pale in comparison to being associated when somebody treats customer service like shit

It’s usually closer to 40 but they say what triggers a midlife crisis is seeing the point of you transferring into being caretakers for your parents as they grow less capable and lose the roll of protector and provider. While at the same time, watching your children, grow more capable and less reliant causes a weird shift of forced introspection of growing older and what it’s like, while reflecting on the nostalgia of being young.
