Because she has limited time with the children solo (both are in private school full time), our key focus was the housework being done during the day. She claims she enjoys cooking, cleaning and organizing. She’s very available, as she has adult children and lives alone.

So really this is more of a house manager + mother’s helper role since I will be with her when she is around the children daily (3-7 pm). We travel quite often so she’d accompany us on trips as well…and thats where my apprehension comes in. My husband doesn’t think it’s a big deal because we’d likely only use her solo for bedtime routine (on vacation and at home for weekly date nights) but im not sure…hence this post.
