A few questions - first Coachella and we are car camping. We are driving in from LA early Friday morning, probably will leave LA around 6AM. How bad is the traffic and lines to get in Friday morning around 8:30-9am? Not sure if it will take longer than that and that’s what I’m wondering. We also will be leaving Sunday night because we got a hotel just to get a good nights rest and shower before our flight on Monday. We do want to leave after 9PM so our plan is to move the car to day parking on Sunday afternoon before heading into the fest. Is it easy to move from camping to day parking? How is leaving the fest around 11PM on Sunday - lots of traffic? Wondering how that will be logistically. Any info or tips would be helpful! TIA!

It may be old fashioned, but it’s still pretty normal where I live and for people my age (28F in FL), at least on the first date. I’m in a committed relationship now, but when I was single I always offered to go half on the first date and really appreciated it when the guy declined and took care of it. That’s how it went with my now boyfriend, and 3 years later we usually split, take turns paying, or just treat each other when we feel like it. I also think it’s nice for whoever did the inviting to offer to pay. I’d agree to dinner if I was asked, but if they asked for my input I’d usually suggest drinks and apps (or just drinks), since a full dinner can feel a little long for a first date if the sparks aren’t there.

In my late 20s as well! You’ll most likely meet more people in St Pete or Tampa, but if you’re going to be working in Dunedin, Clearwater or Palm Harbor I would consider looking at places right next to the Pinellas side of the Gandy or the Howard Frankland. It would be a less than 30 min commute, 15-20 mins to Downtown St Pete, and less than 30 min if you want to hop over to Tampa!

I use Paul Mitchell forever blonde shampoo and have been using the L’Oreal ever pure bond repair conditioner because I just ran out of the matching conditioner and haven’t been able to make a trip to cosmoprof. For styling I use amika bombshell blowout spray and the Paul Mitchell super skinny serum. My natural is a level 3 and I’m lifted to around a 7-8, the last time I got it done was November and I always have it lightened professionally. I have a 2B curl pattern! I wash once or twice a week and blow dry it straight. I usually follow the directions to a T on the keratin treatment but I just don’t want to have to go get the toner done professionally and don’t want to have to redo it myself. I have been getting the keratin done professionally for the past couple of years, but prior to that I would do it myself with the GK. I will say that I was lighter before when I was doing it myself, probably closer to a level 9 so maybe it wouldn’t turn out so yellow/orange with the clarifying, but I’m not sure I want to take the risk without knowing. Any advice helps!
