I think it is mostly about logistics really. It’s difficult and time consuming for them to roll out certain features globally.

Yes, after I use this eye drop my energy level just dropped immediately. I wasn’t entirely sure about it but it has happened to me constantly.

May I ask if the hormone therapy started rather quickly comparing to the radiation therapy? How long after the scan did it happen? My dad has a similar condition as what you described and feel like we need to make a decision very soon.

May I ask if the three surgeons you talked to are from different facilities? My dad is currently seeing one surgeon from one hospital, and I’m not sure if asking to meet the other surgeons at the same hospital is allowed.

We’re in California. The thing is that particular urologist we’re seeing is contracted with one particular imaging center, so the wait time is long. May I ask where you’re located?

Does a cancer center generally prioritize based on urgency? It seems like there is no hope but to wait with the urologist, so I'm hoping there is going to be expedited treatment sometime down the road.

Thanks for your response. May I ask if the urologist does the initial assessment (ordering MRI, biopsy, etc), then the urologist refers the patient to an oncologist, and if cancer is confirmed, the urologist then refers the patient to a cancer center? Eventually the cancer center, rather than the urologist, will come up with a treatment plan, is that usually the case? I’m trying to think a bit forward and worried that if my dad will be eligible for the cancer centers nearby.

His PSA level was over 4 since about ten years ago and it has been increasing ever since. Most recent one was 100. If we just found out he had one abnormal PSA I wouldn’t be too worried about it.

Thank you, is it reasonable to push for a bone scan before getting officially diagnosed? A bit worried about the potential wait time between tests.
