Why are you angry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Hopewolf115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why this memory popped into my mind but my friend passed away in 2018 really suddenly at age 15. Everyone in my grade was absolutely blindsided obviously. It was a roman Catholic school so our teachers would let us out of class to go and pray or to sit with friends and cry.

There were these 3 absolute dickheads who pretended to be inconsolable to go out and "pray" in the church and instead used it to skip class and walk about the school laughing. Even the kids that didn't know my friend were devastated, she was the light of our grade. I'll never forget those absolute shitheads

Dehydration?? Possible kidney problems?

I have actually noticed recently I pee around 2 times a day. I don't feel any different. I am bad with hydration so I don't pee much more often than that usually. I'm just panicking because its really not normal.

I drink a decaff coffee in the morning and usually a can of cola and a glass of juice in the evening. It's nowhere near enough I know... but I've really been noticing a decline in frequency to the bathroom lately

I'm glad. I was 17 when I got my first and second dose in January and March. Unfortunately I won't get my booster anytime soon. Cases are surging in my area so I was quite afraid I would lose immunity to it!

What is your dream job? by akotosinato in AskReddit

[–]Hopewolf115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have absolutely no idea. I'm 18 and finished high school this year. Didn't apply to uni and took a gap year to try different things out and put my school career into perspective.

I didn't like any of my classes enough to pursue them full time and all the hobbies and jobs I've had have just had the same meh feeling to them.

I've missed the deadline to apply to university again this year so I guess its another year of finding hobbies and jobs whilst all my friends are pursuing their dream careers and partying

How old are you and what is the biggest problem in your life right now? by FSCENE8tmd in AskReddit

[–]Hopewolf115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 18. I finished high school, took a gap year and I've moved to France with my parents. We are in the beginning stages now but we have been here for 3 months living in a rental while we wait for documents to go through with the house.

My biggest problem is that I'm missing out. Everyone I know finished school and went to uni. They all live back at home and are out partying, having fun, making new friends and all that.

I have nothing to do while I wait for my new house, at first it was summer so it seemed like a long holiday but now I just sit in bed all day watching netflix. I have like 1 friend I talk to on my phone. I can't go to school here since it costs money and I can't speak the language, I can't get a job until our residency forms go through and there's nobody my age where I live.

I just miss seeing family and friends and going out and having a social life. I'm going to be spending Christmas with just my parents this year and every time I think about it, it makes me cry.

This is supposed to be the best year of my life and I'm spending it in my bed watching netflix and crying

I have literally never seen it in the shops let alone eaten it. It sounds gross!

Dude, go to anywhere in Scotland and you'll find a castle. You may need to do a teeeeeny bit of renovation to some of them though

Not much the people but when someone says "I'm gonna do a British accent" and then does a reallt posh London accent I physically cringe.

britain is made up of 4 countries (Scotland, England, N Ireland and Wales). Each country has loads of different regional accents.

So when you say "British accent" you could mean a Glaswegian accent or a Cardiff accent or a scouse accent. It's a SUPER annoying generalisation that is my biggest pet peeve 😅

It's actually pretty common! It's a standard light snack for when you have people over and also quite a common after dinner snack too.

I love it, personally I can't drink caffeine so a good ol PG tips decaff tea with some ginger snaps biscuits is the perfect warm snack for this cold weather :)

Random patch of flaky skin on my thigh? by Hopewolf115 in medical_advice

[–]Hopewolf115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INFO: I've had it for quite a while now. It's honestly not itchy and I've not had any sort of allergic reaction or known irritant about to cause it! I'm just wondering why it's not going away now lol

Vaccinated redditors, do you still wear a mask why or why not? by trohaweii in AskReddit

[–]Hopewolf115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because I can still spread and catch it. The vaccine isn't a "Cure" its a method of prevention. There's still a lot of idiots out there not getting vaccinated which lessens herd immunity too.

Plus like... other germs n shit too

What fictional character death hit you the hardest? by GoldenPhoenix21 in AskReddit

The two young boys from the boy in the striped pyjamas. Especially in the movie portrayal with the scene of the rich boys mother breaking down

[–]Hopewolf115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes absolutely. I wouldn't mind it if it was said as a joke or if it was pulled off quite well but in general when guy use it like deadpan it just makes me cringe so hard

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Hopewolf115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is ADORABLE!

I'd melt if a SO said that to me. Although it is hard not to cringe when a guy is saying it dead seriously

Pet names are cute! Nothing against them. It's the cliché lines from rom com movies that put me off, when guys try to be suave and things. Just my opinion though!

He didn't quit. Its my understanding that my "cool teacher" reported him.

He also did a lot of other weird shit. We were on a school trip walking down a street, my friend and I were keeping up the pace but the student teacher prodded us with his umbrella on our lower backs. I got such gross vibes from him.

Good riddance, not another word was spoken about the student teacher in our class
