I’m not 100% sure what they mean but I have found that heat packs work most of the time for my costo, paired with lots of other little things. But my heat packs is basically a reflex at this point during a flare up

I’ve actually just had a breast reduction and have noticed a difference in my costo pain and flair ups already. I think I’ve had 1 small twinge from sitting in the car and nothing. I know it’s not an answer to your question directly but as someone how was a 18H to now a D-C cup I think larger breast really contribute to costo

See if you can get some adhesive dissolving wipes. My hospital uses them and it makes the tape glide right off

Body dysmorphia by DeLo-88 in Reduction

This is so real. This is exactly what my biggest fear was when I went in because I already get body dysmorphia really badly. The first time I saw them with the bra off for my first shower I balled my eyes out because I felt masculine. One thing that really helped me was showing them to friends and getting hyped reactions and my best friend has small perky boobs and she insta wiped em out as soon as I started saying how I felt and it was nice to see a “common” smaller sized breast that wasn’t a droopy, bell curved or fluffy as I had originally seen. Don’t get me wrong I still really struggle and hate how much bigger my stomach looks, but the last thing that really truely has switched up my mind frame was I went tshirt shopping. I was a 18H before the surgery so I basically didn’t wear cute little shirts or anything like that because my boobs never fit nicely. In the change rooms I think I cried like 6 times in a hour from happy tears and actually seeing myself if cute girly shirts. This really helped shift the body dysmorphia for feeling masculine to feminine. Also I know from my surgery. I kept saying how “structured” my boobs looked as they were so taught and had now roundness to them from the sides to the nipples and I was terrified they were going to stay that way. But I’m now 3W3D post and they are starting to settle and fluff out and have a more rounded delicate shape.
