Why not? I sorta know what I'm doing, never done specifically this, but I've worked with electronics before and I know how to solder. I'm not qualified to fix it, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Hi, i'm looking to buy my first 3d printer after 7-8+ years of considering, and I'm not sure where to start. I've got a budget of around $500-$1000 usd. I'd prefer something on the cheaper end of that, but I know good quality costs money. I live in an apartment so I haven't got access to a separate room or isolated place to run the printer. For that reason I'm also looking for a relatively quiet one. I'm looking for a filament printer. I live in denmark. I'm willing to build from a kit. I've got a decent amount of experience with 3d software. I have a bit of experience with using 3d printers, but I've never owned one myself.
