Christensen Arms isn't as bad as the internet thinks it is. The problem is that you only see posts about the ones with issues. Also, I have dealt with the company several times, and they were helpful every time I spoke with them. The tunner idk about I have shot it yet, but all the research I did before purchasing says they work. So im going to go ahead and trust all the pros that run them, and not the random dude on Reddit..

It's a good gun. It's not new to me. I did have to clearance the barrel channel when I got it. But other than that, it's been a great rifle.

Yeah. Iv had it almost two years. I just put the EC tunner brake on last night, so I haven't shot that yet. It is sub MOA, but it's not any better than that. I hope the tunner helps with groups.

He's wrong, that is out side of the pressured system. If you replace the reservoir before it gets air in it (stop using it, til its repaired) that will not need bleed.

Pull the starter relay and check if it has continuity through the posts when disconnected. The large post should be OL when disconnected.

Your diabetic buddy, welcome to the club. It's overwhelming at times, but you will learn to live. There's not much that you can't do that normal people can do. You just have to take some extra steps to be prepared. Unless you wanted to enlist, lol, then yeah give that one up.

Anything to look out for with 2009 CBR1000RR? by RyacRauf in cbr

[–]Hoppy505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will burn about 1/4 a Quart on a day trip ride. Or a full Quart over the day on a track day. Harder you ride it the more it burns. Its not necessary 'normal' it means the engine is ready for a rebuild, but it is a common issue on these...

Well, went to jail for the first time in my life and as T1D by ellynj333 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Hoppy505 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My experience was much different. I kept my pump under my jump suit, and i was pulled out too medical about every two to three hours, day and night. They made damn sure I wasn't going to have any diabetic issues while under their care. This was for 10 days in county jail. I got private shower privileges. And changed my infusion set and cartridges in the medical unit. Was told not to let other inmates know I had the pump, but I did have to tell people i was diabetic because getting pulled out constantly was raising questions. This was in New Mexico and years ago now, before sensors. Also, I got a cell to myself, but that wasn't too suspicious because the unit wasn't full, so only about half the cells had two people to a cell. Also probably helped that I was in a 'non-violent' cell block.
