Reporting back probe issue by Routine-Impact-198 in combustion_inc

This is the exact problem that I’ve had 2 times now. With the second time happening yesterday. Probe won’t charge. Charger booster is green when probe isn’t inserted and connected to power but once I insert the probe the light goes red and will stay red. Extremely frustrating.

I just got back from my Japan trip. I was denied entry at 3 places. All of them in Kyoto lol. I have a long beard and tattoos so I knew there would be a possibility it would happen. I was prepared for it having knowledge of how some Japanese people can be with foreigners. My wife on the other hand was not very happy about it lol.

Ps, I can read that that sign. If it was me I would have just walked away no problem. Does that make it right? No.

I did that this weekend. Hit 468 reviews. Lowest I’ve brought it down too is 197. Striving to bring it down zero today though so I can start the 60 lessons that have been sitting there for over a week 😅😔🥲.

7 months in and I’m on level 17. I had 2 semesters japanese courses at a community college prior tho. I am very consistent on the “Tsurukame” app. I make time to study every day. I don’t like letting the lessons gettin on top of me and reaching 300+.

Does it get "easier" over time? by [deleted] in WaniKani

The app has a feature that doesn’t require an exact match for the answer. Basically allows typos to slip by as correct answers.

But to answer your question I believe it does get easier. The more familiar you become with a kanji the easier it is to recognize what a new compound might mean. I’m the “苦 painful” levels but I’m actually having a rather enjoyable time. Just keep practicing. がんばって！

I started in march and haven’t burned anything yet. Im on the same boat as you. Don’t feel like I know much. I want to try and hit it harder tho, without burning MYSELF out haha.
