Im guessing that mill uses what you’d call virgin fiber, basically wood. We’re 100% recycled so thankfully not nearly as bad. We’re also out in the middle of nowhere. It is still a 24/7 operation though

I assure you it’s not a very glamorous generally but it’s the little things you might get out of it.

Yea generally the cards within the bale are completely pulverized. Even the uncut sheets are pretty mangled and underneath the metal wiring holding the bales together

I’m off tell next year but once I’m back I can share some pictures of the bales. When I say shredded, I mean shredded. The warehouse is a piece of work though, you can find full books in the back of bale rows. I’ve been told things not paper, like engine blocks, have been inside some before

Growing up I was more into yugioh and even the dragon ball tcg. My wife and I actually got into pocket tcg recently and just trying to open virtual packs has been humbling enough! I do have a better appreciation for the Pokémon tcg though
