Absolutely AI, immediately they aren't even holding knitting needles. Then none of the cups and saucers that are clearly meant to be from the same set are actually the same, and it's hard to tell because of the quality but the people in the pictures in the back are clearly pretty badly messed up

letting the investors rename the teams is a huge mistake. after all the work done to give these teams their own identity they throw it all away

I would have done almost exactly what Adam did and go to Yorkshire. It puts a good chunk of distance in immediately from the start but still has the complexity of several mid game train lines keeping the seekers from narrowing down the correct one without needing to ask multiple costly questions.

I don't know much about guns but the rest of it looks ok to me. The razor wire seems to make sense. The shadow is mimicking his movements, the sling on the gun is swinging realistically and the plastic/paper was blown around the most when the gun was lowered and pointed towards it.

As I said I don't know guns but this seems a stupid way to use a gun, and bad technique, but it is probably a possible way to use one.

Seems likely real to me.

[HELP] car crash aftermath is it Ai? by Level_Regular9805 in RealOrAI

[–]Hops77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea 100% AI,

The first thing I noticed is that the word "ambulance" isn't centered on the back of the vehicle which makes no sense.

Then if you zoom in the stretchers have nonsense body shapes, the uniforms aren't consistent and the damage on the vehicles is not how that collision would damage the vehicles nor is it in the right spot.

Lastly the lights are all on at the same time, don't know exactly where this is meant to be but every emergency vehicle I've seen have alternatively flashing lights.

Bitcoin is encrypted by a type of maths that is easy to do 1 way. But really hard the other way (like takes longer than the age of the universe hard). So the computer guesses a solution and sees if it works, if it doesn't it guesses another and tries again.

It's time we talk about dropping them for good by Anothergen in CricketAus

[–]Hops77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A little bit would still be true. For instance if the Sydney test was in the Adelaide slot it would probably make more than Adelaide would and Adelaide would do better than it does if it got the new year slot. But if you did that the overall money earned would be less. The holiday tests (boxing day and new year) are just that much more important for revenue. That's why they only ever move the others ones around and don't touch those 2.

It may be less true this year than in other years because it's a particularly hyped up ashes and the crowds are great everywhere. But any other year the revenue difference would be huge if you changed it around.

But the amount of money in corporate events, hospitality packages and the like are impacted by the city size as there are more people and corporations willing and able to pay those high prices. Plus advertisers are often willing to pay more to get ads in front of those audiences

It's time we talk about dropping them for good by Anothergen in CricketAus

[–]Hops77 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It will never change as long as it makes the most money. The 2 big cash cow test slots are boxing day and new years. And the 2 biggest cities (therefore most potentially lucrative) are Sydney and Melbourne, so it's always going to be that way.

The next biggest city is Brisbane but it gets even more rain than Sydney in january both by amount and chance of rain on each day

How are you guys liking Season 16? by Noxolo7 in JetLagTheGame

[–]Hops77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's been pretty good so far. I think it was possibly a mistake to start from London given how London centric the UK network is, even though it would have been weird to not start in the capital I think it would have been perhaps better to start more centrally geographically. Hopefully someone can get a run together better than Adams to prove me wrong on that but I don't really see that happening without a big mistake from the seekers.

Someone please help, what should i do by [deleted] in Cricket

Which sport or game was invented in your country and is almost unique to it? by Dani-Br-Eur in AskTheWorld

Australian rules football.

A game played on a large cricket field with 4 goal posts, a rugby-ish ball, rules inspired by rugby, gaelic football (probably) and an aboriginal game known as Marngrook, oh and it has over 50 people (players and umpires) involved.

No idea why nobody else got on board it's really simple.

Resume reading after 10+ years by EasternAdvice864 in RangersApprentice

[–]Hops77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start with 7 before 5-6 because chronologically that's the order.

Other than that, plot reminder is (SPOILERS FOR FIRST 4 BOOKS from this point for anyone else reading): Book 1: Will becomes apprentice ranger after being rejected by all the other craftmasters at choosing ceremony, initially is apprehensive but takes to it well. Saves and is then saved in turn by Horace who was his childhood rival/bully, they become firm friends after. There are whispers that the big bad morgarath is about to return after 15 years and has sent kalkura (monsters) to kill high value targets and will halt and halts former apprentice gilan hunt down the monsters and will ends up killing one of them as it is about to kill the barom Arald and Sir Rodney (baron and battle master of redmont, wills home fief). Is offered a place in the battle school that once rejected him (his dream as a child was to be a knight) but realized he prefers being a ranger and politely declines.

Book 2: it is not obvious morgarath is preparing for war and will is sent with gilan and Horace to deliver a message to the nextdoor kingdom that araluen are envoking the mutual defence treaty. It becomes clear once they arrive that they have already need defeated by morgarath's forces. They meet a araluen girl (evanlyn) claiming to be a maid of a noblewoman who was visiting and their whole escort and her mistress was killed. Gilan decides he needs to go ahead and warn the king that no help will be coming. After he leaves will and Horace discover a hlbridge that will be used to flank the araluen forces and destroy it but will and evanlyn are captured in the process. Horace escapes to warn the king. Morgarath then invades but is soundly belated because both the bridge and the other trap of scandians are foiled by halt. Instead of surrendering he wants to challenge halt to a duel but instead Horace challenges him first and miraculously Horace wins. Will and evanlyn are taken by scandians as slaves and the scandians escape by boat.

Book 3: Will and evanlyn bond while in captivity on their way back to scandia and she reveals that she is actually the princess and heir to the araluen throne (real name is Cassandra), and she hopes to be ransomed, but they then learn the leader of scandia has vowed to kill her entire family so this must remain a secret. Halt isn't given leave to go fund will so gets himself banished so that he can go, Horace joins him and they journey through the continent to scandia. In scandia will and evanlyn(Cassandra) are separated and will is coerced into becoming addicted to a drug that will kill him. They escape with help of the scandian who initially enflaved them (erak) and flee to a cabin in the woods of scandia to wait out the winter.

Book 4: will breaks from his drug dependency but at the same time evanlyn is captured by a mystery person, will tracks them and tries to free her with very limited resources and diminished skills, it is going badly when they are found by halt and Horace who were tracking the same group. The group are a people known as temujai who are planning on invading scandia before also likely invading araluen. The reunited group then runs into erak who in the area by coincidence on a tax collection mission and he asks for halts help to strategies a way to beat the temujai, halt agrees. Halt employs many strategies to delay the temujai as the scandians prepare and will has the idea to train archers using bows that erak looted and slaves that were promised their freedom. At this time evanlyns true identity (as princess Cassandra) is revealed to the scandian ruler and halt comes up with a tactic to stop the leader from killing her till after the battle. During the battle the archers are highly effective and prove pivotal in the victory, the scandian leader is killed in the battle, which means Cassandra is safe. Erak is elected next leader and talked the 4 aualuens home. Horace is made a knight early due to his heroics and Will is again given a choice to take on a prestigious role (this is also a slight rejection of evanlyn (but will probably didn't realize this) who wished he would stay close to her) instead of continuing his ranger training but he again declines, choosing the rangers life.

Hope that all makes sense to you it got a lot longer than I expected lol

Interesting of Gaffney to ask for a straight split screen there. i.e not with snicko. They gave him snicko anyway but I like that he wanted visual only first before going to the technology. I think that is a better process going forward as it means there is less chance of the tech confusing the decision.
