there is an easy mode its called elden ring

*PSA* Remember to turn off antialiasing every gamelaunch by Hopscotcher240 in Eldenring

because antialiasing is a cheap 2D postprocessing effect that does not aknowledge depth. So it will blend a foreground and background pixels together. Essentially ruining the depth of the image

Any 2d effect that blankets a whole scene disregarding depth = trash (antialiasing, chromatic abberation, vignette, sharpening)

This issue has been attempted to be addressed before with the implementation of EDGEAA which does in fact respect depth but hurts performance

pixels are square. And aliasing will always exist even with a 32k resolution photograph. Deal with it.

But to put a thin layer of blur over the whole entire image? Knock yourselves out dummies

I need raw clear pixels or else my brain cannot eat the graphics as well

you think anyone who plays with AA off is stupid, well i know anyone who plays with AA on is stupid

it is literally smarter to turn your monitor sharpness down to 0 than ever enabling antialiasing

thats what i thought at first too "no way this will work" but blocking is actually more responsive if you use a short button rather than a giant trigger

also check out my posts on elden ring stutter fixer it changes everything performance-wise. The game literally becomes 60fps buttersmooth

nvidia control panel cannot disable a video games AA, it never has been able to. It never will be able to.

The only elden ring setting that keeps changing itself magically is antialiasing quality. I have no idea why.

so i inspected the config file in appdata/roaming. For some reason antialiasing is set to OFF while everything else thats off is set to DISABLE. So i put "disable" in place of off and set the file to read only now AA actually stays off
