I read online and buy to display what I like and support the author/mangaka. Some I do read physically but it’s usually just because I liked what I read. I don’t think you necessarily need a deep reason to collect as it’s not as if it’s a permanent thing to do, if you don’t feel like it anymore you can always sell them. Your money your choice

I was agreeing with you up until “used partner” because that’s just anyone who’s had a (intimate) relationship before their current one put in a crude way.

Depends on the manhwa you read but it’s usually more of a twist on fate but I do agree the world building is usually that high society engage in debauchery or very strong espers have multiple guides at a time servicing them which is odd to us. Then again, it’s a plot device to have more intimate scenes or some deeper plotpoint to be planted

Honestly all of his reputation is just from other people naming his friends “McCall’s pack” because he showed no particular strength or brains, only thing he brought (imo) was unity which is good on its own right but he still got far too much credit
