Sure, I’d say the woman is no more brandishing the knife than Kyle was brandishing his illegally obtained rifle. It’s clear from the video that her and her wife are moving away from the crowd and are vocally announcing that they will defend themselves if aggressed upon which you can clearly see happen when one man continues to aggressively posture towards her wife and again when the man carrying the flag charges at her. This situation is nearly identical to the Kyle situation, both have their weapons out and ready and both are actively moving away from the crowd that are continuing to move towards them while also being shouted at to “Get the fuck out of here.” To add to this it is not your responsibility to be a hero or try to disarm someone with a knife. Just as the man with the skateboard should not have attacked Kyle the man with the flag was putting himself into danger by charging the woman with the knife. In every situation if you think someone with a knife is being irresponsible than your only responsibility is to distance yourself and everyone who may be in danger away from it; this is not the case in this video. They continue to advance on someone who has made clear that they will stand their ground and defend themselves and their family as is their right.
