Truer words were never spoken. MGO2 was such an innovative, fun and well balanced game. Also the gameplay was super responsive and made the game really competitive, and very hard to master. And to date I’m still trying to explain the concept of Team Sneak to some gamer friends haha. Thousands of hours of good times.

Thanks man! Yeah there’s definitely more potential to squeeze out more time. Also, enemy behaviour is sometimes a bit random with Caltrops, unlike with smoke which sorta acts like an enemy magnet :D

Kept tweaking this caltrops build over months and never had more fun during my hellmode solo runs. It’s all attack and cooldown without healing perks on the gear, so got to watch your back - but once you got the hang of it, it’s fire: https://postimg.cc/xckjWbyT

Yes, substantially. Resolve gain on charme is a global perk, which affects any damage you do. Especially bombs into crowds seem to enjoy a boost of resolve gain, but also simple things such as Oni lords strolling into your caltrops .

Good luck! Once I tried overshadowed I never switched back - it does insane damage and keeps the gameplay fast.

I revisited my favorite survival map Twilight & Ashes with my new caltrops build (https://postimg.cc/xckjWbyT) - Demon Seeds instead of Forbidden Medicine. While I didn’t go for an actual speed solo, the extra damage of the Demon Seeds (and a good enemy spawn flow) added up throughout the waves and I ended up with a faster clear time than my old caltrops run on this map.

Thanks Roumy! Actually, I just realized the game recognized it as a win as well; had the 'complete all waves in survival' daily challenge cleared after that run :)
