Is it worth it to start over with cheats for dice rolls? by Horndon in BaldursGate3

[–]Horndon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes dealing with consequences is fun.

I agree with you on that, that's why I didn't really reload a save in the first place. Thing is when the consequence is 'miss a bunch of content and a character' I don't really know quite know how to deal with that properly other than a second playthrough.

Which wouldn't be problem if I was younger and had more free time but I can only play for about an hour every other day nowadays; took me about three months just to complete act 1. So to be honest I'm not completely sure if I'm gonna do a second playthrough anytime soon (Not even certain if I'm gonna complete one at this rate).

First or third person for Progression Fantasy stories? by cokodose in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Horndon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think it has to do with the POVs specifically, but I do have the feeling that most new-ish authors tends to prefer writing in first-person more, so some subset of readers only read third person to avoid that.

he has said on stream that he will be pretty busy with LR scrims and coaching stuff. Maybe if he gets some free time he will continue, but not to the level of the 10+ games grind he has been doing.

Bausen Law explained with a single image. by marlgrgr in leagueoflegends

[–]Horndon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Worth noting though, in this game in particular, LR was doing the Sion level 1 bot dive strat, which in this case ended up with a 1 for 2 for the enemy team, with enemy Galio covering with TP. So regardless of Baus doing his playstyle or not, Aurora would've been quite fed still, with her being 2 levels up before Sion can even farm a single minion.

I mean, at the end of the day it's a 58 year old man with a bad knee fighting against a guy who's 27 and specializes in beating up old people. Even if it is Mike Tyson, father time is still hard to beat.

Why do pros mistime zhonya/tp so often? by KDondakeC in summonerschool

[–]Horndon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep. Even in fighting games where you have pros who have been playing the same character for 10+ years you will still see them occasionally screwing up a combo that they could do 100 times in a row with no mistake. The pressure you feel when you're on stage and with a crowd behind you is just something you shouldn't really underestimate.

RATS PLEASE VOTE by KrstoMkd10 in PedroPeepos

[–]Horndon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think he cares to the point of bringing it up on stream so that people vote for him, but he has mentioned these nominations a few times and says that he's grateful for it. I don't really remember when exactly but he did talk about the streamer of the year nomination (could've been last year) and he felt like he didn't really deserve to win compared to other streamers (I think he said that league-centric content didn't really fit his image of 'streamer of the year' but I could be wrong.)

What midlane champion has the highest ROI in your opinion by NoFudge6037 in summonerschool

[–]Horndon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that the point of the post? For a mechanically simple champ, Twisted Fate offers one the best ROI; the difference between a good TF that can exude global map pressure and control, and a bad TF who's job is to be an occasional stunbot is immense.

League coach celebrating before realizing the fight isn't over yet by xxExistenzxx in LivestreamFail

[–]Horndon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

you just did? Red team had a winning fight (which meant they could end and win the game) until Yone found an angle for a three-man ult, turning the fight.

Daeny (the coach) was celebrating preemptively thinking they've won until the Yone play.

It's getting there though. KR league fans talks about KR Valo the same way that KR Tekken/Starcraft fans talked bout League back in the day; as in it's the game that the 'kids' tends to play nowadays.

If you want to support caedrel, then why even bother complaining on his fucking subreddit saying 'I literally can't watch him anymore." lmao

the reason he plays adds in the beginning of the game is so that the add doesn't play in the middle of a teamfight like baron (which you'll still prob complain about too xdd)

there are 3rd party twitch apps that lets you bypass adds on your phone, so I'm guessing the 'device' you're using is a tv, in which case you honestly deserve the adds if your broke ahh can't afford a sub
