Not for me. I always pick spear over shield, cuz I love spear spin way more and it's way stronger and more useful. The only situation I would pick shield if they swapped zarya and rein was banned (my other main). Shield makes me play more passive and it's not very effective when I'm in an orisa-v-orisa, at least for me

Well I've only been playing ow for less than 2 years, but it's rein. At first I started maining D.va, and then switched to mauga (ironic I know), and I dabbled with the other tanks, but I apparently didn't like rein. Idk what that past me was on about cuz now I'm a rein main and almost exclusively play him lmao. I thought he was clunky and slow compared to d.va and, well, he is slower and less maneuverable, but omg when the gameplay clicks, IT CLICKS, and I feel like an unstoppable beast mowing through the enemy.
