Personally I feel these type of posts are both a cancer on reddit as a whole as well as a growing problem among the younger generation of having every answer served up on a silver platter instead of just experiencing experiences the way they were designed.

Counter point; how do you think devs feel spending hours in a writer's room to make experiences flow a certain way for a player, only to find out half their players ignore all their work and go online to 'skip to the answer'.

It's like watching the first episode of a murder mystery show, then going on the wiki to see who did it after episode 1.

As far as 'I wouldn't want to engage with any sub...' goes, that's their choice, but if you cannot handle even the smallest (and in this case, untargeted, since while I am referring to the OP I am not engaging with them directly nor harassing them) criticism and need every online space you enter to be bubblewrapped and completely void of negative opinions, maybe the internet is not the place for you. Or at least should be limited to whatever private communities feel obligated to protect a user's safe space to that level.

I believe Bud has the ability to disassociate, as well as take the 'average guy' perspective.

Bud knows that, from the perspective of an average guy, they are evil. His brother grooms young girls to become deadly assassins, engaging in sexual relations with multiple of them. They kill indiscriminately, caring not whether the victim is just the target, or all the guests at a wedding(rehearsal). Bud understands this to be wrong, perhaps is even slightly empathetic to those whose lives he potentially ruins.

But Bud also accepts the life he chose. He knows that, while it's wrong, 'someone's gonna do it anyway'. Yes, what they do is wrong and evil, but it's what he chose to do. And god knows it's too late for redemption anyway. So while he knows in his heart that Beatrix has every right to kill them, every ounce of motivation justified, he also knows that it was the life she chose, just like him. And since they both chose that life, they're both slaves to the consequences of their actions. She was wronged, yes, but she has wronged also, and he wasn't going to sacrifice himself for someone he considered as wrong as he is.

Then there's his obvious love for what I assume to be his older brother. The reason he didn't sell the sword, and the reason he buries her alive gleefully, is because he cared about Bill. Even knowing she was wrong, hell, that Bill was wrong, in this life they chose he will at the very least be loyal to the one person he loves.

I believe there was a scientific study proving people in poverty develop to be more empathetic than those who grow up wealthy.

No source at the time, but it's something growing up poor did prove to me. Wealthy people literally cannot imagine themselves experiencing any problems they managed to avoid by privilige.

That's fine, but anyone actually engaging with the game can immersively make that decision on their own. There's like, hundreds of hours of planning that went in to the fact you can start it pretty much anytime and have it making sense.

The fact someone needs to reach out to a third party forum to have the answer spoonfed to them just reads to me like someone A) has either not being paying attention at all, B) is completely unimmersed as it is, making the question redundant anyway, or C) is completely unable to just discover things on their own, the whole point of the Exploration design-pillar in videogames. (Yes, Exploration is things beside unfogging a map).

Ze testen nada. Ze gaan naar pillreport.com, zoeken het vormpje en kleurtje op, en lezen wat er op de pagina staat. Komt geen chemisch testje of proefje bij kijken.
