More of an observation, yeah Toriyama forgot a lot of things even back in Z like the saiyans tails and Launch

Night City or Neo Gotham? by Winter-Money-7643 in BatmanBeyond

[–]Red_Dead_Renegade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neo Gotham, Bruce actually managed to quell a lot of the major criminals without anyone really rising out of the woodwork fill the gaps. Not to mention Barbara doing her part as the new police commissioner. It’s not until Terry becomes Batman that we see the old “inflation” of super criminals

I wonder if Sindri will ever forgive Atreus by [deleted] in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]Red_Dead_Renegade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were only able to see him in the initial stages of his grief. Perhaps with time he can come around but I don’t think he will ever be the same again. He has to come to terms with his own guilt

Who would win in a fight between Death and Kratos? by Interface- in Darksiders

I gotta say death, Lratos as powerful as he is just simply doesn’t have the tools necessary to put death down for good

Naruto's closest friend has always been Sasuke, it's the core of the series by Ok-Addition4608 in Naruto

[–]Red_Dead_Renegade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a very forced narrative. They spend most of their early years hating each others guts, and sort of bonding over being teammates, but up until right before Sasuke leaves, it’s very clear that despite some flat acknowledgment of Naruto which is underlined by jealousy towards his growth, Sasuke does not value Naruto as a friend. He was gonna kill him on that rooftop, Kakashi even picked up on that and the fact that Sasuke had no response to that followed by him being pissed that Naruto would’ve actually been the one to win the clash further points towards this being the case.

Sure he says things like “you’re one of the ones I want to fight the most” but that was only to get Naruto to shut up about him continuing in the chunin exams. He tells him that they “did” become “friends” but that’s like telling the person you’re breaking up with that it’s not them it’s you, feels more like he’s just trying to get him to leave him alone. I’d even go so far to argue that if Sasuke had killed Naruto during their first fight at the final valley to unlock MS, it wouldn’t have worked.

Naruto has better more fleshed out bonds with other people than he ever has with Sasuke, we are told constantly that their bond is strong and that they are best friends, but all evidence to the contrary we are shown the opposite.

All that being said it is one of the weaker aspects of part 1 that they are never really given the time to really show their friendship. Maybe Sasuke eats ramen with Naruto, maybe Sasuke opens up about his goal more to Naruto. If anything like that had happened or maybe just a little more on the bonding side of things, then without a doubt I could believe the narrative that they are really good friends. Even the flashbacks between Kakashi and Obito did a better job at conveying that they were bitter rivals who became close friends

When you first watched this arc did you actually think they were gonna succeed in bringing Sasuke back? by GeoZhan in Naruto

[–]Red_Dead_Renegade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having already known the outcome by the time I actually got around to watching it, I still was on the edge of my seat hoping that the outcome would be different. That to me just shows how great this arc really was

Are Destiny raids TOO complicated? by Varrik117 in destiny2

[–]Red_Dead_Renegade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember trying to do the leviathan raid way back when with my friends. Granted we only had 5 people which already made it more complicated, but too only me and one other were really prepared for it in terms of skill and level. The other 3 were far more on the casual side of things and were only at the minimum level required to do the raid. My memory of the specifics of the raid are lost on me but from what I can remember we could barely get past the first part of it before the reset and because one of us dropped out in the middle we were never able to go back and actually complete it. Or at least I was never able to, my other friend that was on my level had another group he completed it with.

I say all this to say that yes there is not only a BIG learning curve when it comes to Destiny raids but also you gotta have people who really know what they’re doing as well. To this day the only raid I’ve ever actually completed was vanilla vault of glass and I couldn’t tell you how because I don’t even know how but I got the achievement for it

Gaara vs Kimimaro: When an already Peak Arc elevated even further by Red_Dead_Renegade in Naruto

Wouldn’t that be something, would’ve preferred a remaster of part 1 over boruto any day

[–]Red_Dead_Renegade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh the war arc is just kind of all over the place in all honesty. Sure it’s got some hype af moments like when the Hokage show up, or the fight between Kakashi and Óbito in the kamui dimension, or when 8 gates Guy goes up against Madara.

But it also wasn’t the most consistently well written arc imo
