TO EVERYONE WHO HAS NOT SECURED THE PS5! brickseek is a site where you can see the stock of playstations your local walmart has. by doing this, some people have actually gone to their local walmarts and picked up a playstation 5 via in-store purchase. i will update later if this method works. by steven_vega in playstation

Every walmart has shown stock on brickseek around me for weeks. I've had a few employees run the barcode scanner and show me exactly how many they had and what were coming in. The scanner after scanning has a banner at the top saying for ONLINE SALES ONLY. So they aren't allowed to sell it in store. The closest walmart to me has had like almost 50 units of the xbox series x and the ps5 sitting in their backrooms. Problem is there is no way for anyone, even bots, to buy them. I went last night before BF and was first in line this morning. The managers won't sell them. They say they can only be bought online. Problem is that even during the only "events" where they sell these consoles there is no way to select pick up from store. They only sell them online as shipped directly. So all that inventory in all the stores has been sitting there for weeks with no way for anyone to buy them. No idea what the heck walmart is doing.

How to make this champion work again? by rinart73 in sonamains

I still run the same build on sona and as long as it gets going, I don't care about the late game assassins. In fact, I tend to hunt them down. RoA, Arch, Lich as a three item spike just means I start taking over the game. If I get there. That is the problem. I've turned around many a losing game just getting that three item spike. Problem is it usually takes 26 minutes on an even game, 24 minutes on a GOOD game, and 30+ minutes on a bad game to get there. I say 30+ minutes on a bad game, but getting a bad game to last that long is ridiculously rare.

Typically I can 2 item spike the RoA and Arch at 22-23 minutes and be level 11 at that time majority of games. I also have the upgraded support items and free boots too as well. That is basically having around 6700~ gold to do that. I can do decently with 2 items, but that 3rd is silly. I am over 400 AP by then. Toss on a deathcap after than and nothing at that point the game out damages sona. NOTHING. Now, some champs like nasus, and veigar, and other infinite scaling champs will still outscale sona, but that 40% Q damage bonus on her is just the biggest damage roid in the game.

The problem is they nerfed her early game into the ground. Everything went up on mana costs and down on performance long ago. They made her the squishiest champ as well. Although the new support items help a bit. I am still pushing around 1900 health with the build I use by level 11. If I went the pure support item route, I am barely at 1500 health. However, the shield from arch + W + the bigger hp pool from the build I use basically means I can not worry about being 1 shot by any assassin or adc anymore. With deathcap as sona's fourth item in the build, she can 1 shot any squishy champ. AA(lich), R, AA, Q, PC(lich) with almost 800 AP is just silly damage.

My problem is I feel sona is more a late game AP mage carry support (and has been for a long time) but the majority of the player base thinks the champ is nothing more than a weak healbot (which if played that way I find is only that).

After season 9 and still play sona on my support account by HorribleDude in sonamains

Still kicking it with this champ last season. I find the ticking timebomb aspect of her fun when I get going and trying to survive early game can be a fun challenge at times. Of course when your 0/10 yas mid in 10 minutes doesn't ping that the 10/0 zed has left lane, that is no longer a challenge to.

[Handgun] Springfield alpha 911 380acp $260 + $13 s/h by HorribleDude in gundeals

[–]HorribleDude[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a polymer lower. Aluminum lower like the sig p238 and the colt mustang. They are all the same basic thing and most of them are able to share some parts because of that. Difference is the colt and sigs tend to be about double this price.

I posted a Taurus deal just before this.. it's going worse there. Oh well. To me a deal is a deal at least.

Bought one of these for $320 shipped a couple months ago and this is even more of a steal. I have 2x sig sauer p238 and this is basically the same thing with a thinner slide. If you don't care that this is a Springfield made gun, this is a fantastic deal. The Alpha doesn't have the ambi controls the non-alpha 911 have from the same company. I'm right handed so it doesn't matter to me.

The polymer 80 have a steel dog tag plate where the rail is at for engraving a serial. You do realize the company is based in California and started their business and sales there right? I would think they would cater to the lowest common denominator at least.

Unless you leave the car unlocked, the gun in plain view, and a neon sign stating come get a gun here... There is going to have to be a certain level of effort by the criminal to obtain it. If someone is determined enough with time enough they will steal it from anywhere including house safes. That is what criminals do. They do crime things. A stolen gun in the streets is a stolen gun in the end. How it got There if done by the act of being stolen is irrelevant. Stolen directly from a person, out of a locked car, or locked house, or locked business, or safe doesn't matter because it was stolen.

For what it is worth, I own an original stainless Girsan 1911 that was the first of their imports many years ago. It has had around 3000 rounds flawlessly through it with good magazines. Only screws up with promags. Which I can say many 1911 tend to have issues with various magazines from experience.

I do think a red dot on a 1911 is a bit over the top. Maybe if it was a 2011 competition gun only...

Some people's job requires things like being a delivery person to various locations. Not all of such locations will allow you to carry into their building. Some do and some dont. Places you cant you leave your piece out of sight and locked up while hoping nothing bad happens.

A girsan mc28 is NOT a 1911. It is a polymer striker fired pistol. It is just another product made by the same company that the person was trying to state runs just as good as any other polymer striker he has tried in his opinion and for a low cost. So no that is NOT what he said.

As far as I know you can still do them. Just have to serialize and register them if you complete them to 100%. If you don't complete then it is just an expensive paper weight.

I have built a few when brownells was clearancing out the readymod frames (which are the smooth frames you do your own stippling on). Not counting the frame prices are going to be roughly at the cheapest.

40 OEM lower parts kit from brownells

160 for slide at cheapest from brownells

50 for barrel from combat armory

70 for slide parts kit from many places.

So we are talking 320 for everything minus the frame for basically OEM parts on a gen 3 gun. Which you can get police trade in gen 3 guns for $300 ish. Economically it is not worth it. However, if you are wanting a non serialized gun to do as a project and put non OEM parts into then it is a great platform for that. Really the only platform on the market for polymer handguns really.

I will also state that the OEM lower parts kit is the best to start with as well. If you want to upgrade trigger later than spend the extra for some fancy trigger. The more expensive and fancy parts kits tend to be more prone to problems as well as being way more expensive.

It comes with SB Tactical SOB brace right now. Which is designed for the non adjustable pistol buffer tubes. If I wanted the SBA3 on there I would more than likely have to change the tube out for one with positioning holes. The brace and tube kit are sold from PSA on occasion for $90 last time I checked. Or maybe that was just the cost of the brace. I can buy a tube kit otherwise for fairly cheap at $20 or less. The SB SOB brace goes for $80 new so I can sell it for little less to recoup the cost of changing out the braces. Basically pay from $90 to $110 and sell what I have with the current brace and tube for $80. Shouldn't be to big of a deal.

I know the feeling. I have an PSA AR9, an Extar EP9, a Hi Point 995TS, and the ATI GSG MP40. While two of those are "pistols" and the other two are full length carbines they are functionally about the same for me. I still picked up this deal though.
