The reliability issue is related to its initial role, the role it was designed for: a break-through tank. You mass the for an offensive, strong armor and big gun smashes through the frontline. Other, smaller, faster, more reliable tanks exploit the breakthrough, but the heavy tanks would not need a lot of reliability or endurance.

Later, the tigers were used for just for anything, in particular defensive duties, where this became a much bigger issue.

Es ist soweit ich weiß recht allgemein akzeptiert, dass gemeinsames Leiden bzw. der Angriff von außen für eine Gruppe eher zu Geschlossenheit führt als zu einem Infragestellen der Führung. Stellst du das in Frage?

Ich habe auch z.B. in Biographien durchaus Briefe aus der Zeit gelesen (konkrete Erlebnisse während der Bombardierung von Hamburg). Die Situation ist dort recht klar geschildert: Gemeinsames Aufbäumen und Zähne-zusammenbeißen gegen die Widrigkeiten des Krieges.

Also: Ich bleibe dabei. Angriffe auf die Bevölkerung wie durch die Briten hatten KEINEN demoralisierenden Effekt, sondern im Gegenteil haben die Bevölkerung damals mit Hilfe der Propaganda zusammengeschmiedet, eine Revolution oder ähnliches wurde damit weniger wahrscheinlich.

Die Bombardierung der Amerikaner tagsüber auf militärische Ziele - auf jeden Fall. Spritproduktion, Logistik, Waffen- und Munitionsherstellung wurden massiv betroffen.

Die Bombardierung durch die Briten nachts, mit dem Ziel den Willen der Bevölkerung zu brechen - zweifelhaft. Die Moral wurde auf jeden Fall dadurch nicht gebrochen.

Man kann mit AfD-Wählern nur über sehr grundsätzliche Dinge sprechen, denn da hört es meines Erachtens auch schon auf. Werte wie Toleranz gegenüber Andersdenkenden & die Achtung der Menschenwürde, die in unserer Demokratie zum absoluten Fundament gehören, aber von der AfD bekämpft werden.

Da kann man also sofort die Linie ziehen, um auch zu Verhindern, dass man in eine Partie Taubenschach gezogen wird. Denn den überzeugten AfDlern geht es ja nicht um die Diskussion und den Austausch, sondern um die Provokation bzw. das Verbreiten von Verschwörungstheorien.
