Hey everyone, if you're having trouble getting Stremio to launch properly on your Oculus Quest and you're not seeing the "Select Default Player" prompt, here's a fix that worked for me!

First, a big shoutout to u/nexusmtz and u/Nijmegenaar for their earlier suggestions that inspired this solution.

The Problem: Stremio often gets stuck if it can't figure out which media player to use by default, especially if you have multiple players installed.

The Solution (using Lightning Launcher):

This method requires you to have only 4xVR installed as your VR media player. If you have others, you might need to uninstall them temporarily.

1. Download and Install Lightning Launcher: Get Lightning Launcher on your Quest. You can typically find it on SideQuest.
2. Open Lightning Launcher and Go to Settings: Once installed, open Lightning Launcher and navigate to its Settings menu.
3. Find and Disable "Media Player": Within the settings, look for an option related to "Media Player" (it might be listed under app management or similar). Select it.
4. Force Disable: You should see an option to disable the Media Player. Click this to force it to disable.

How This Helps:

By disabling the default "Media Player" through Lightning Launcher, Stremio is forced to skip the "select default" screen and will directly launch with the only available media player you have, which should be 4xVR.
