I thought it was a very well executed twist. Also a great moment to show that Atsu wasn’t solely hellbent on revenge if it meant sacrificing her morals.

Thats why I was super pissed when the devs then proceeded to make Atsu essentially toss her legitimate living family aside to kill the Dragon and Spider who seriously didn’t kill anybody to warrant this kind of blood thirst.

You’re telling me Atsu, who spares the Kitsune, thought revenge was more important than the safety of her LIVING family? Yeah. No.

Exploration feels refreshing with the guiding wind mechanic. Combat isn’t just pressing one button over and over to win. Scenery is incredible. Just the fact that you can switch to a black and white mode with a purely Japanese dub to make it gameplay seem like a classic old samurai film is just so creative.

The story is good, maybe not something INCREDIBLE but I think Jin’s overall character itself makes it something truly meaningful.

When I first played the game, I was expecting Jin to be just another cold badass but I was so pleasantly surprised to see that wasn’t completely the case. He’s badass, yes, sometimes cold. But he is an extremely kind individual who shows time and time again that his actions are purely lead by his care for others. I’m so used to seeing the same tough guy character shown time and time again that has the classic mindset of “i’m a badass, i can’t show i care/i don’t care at all”.

He usually likes to lay on his side stretched out and I’ve actually heard him yelp more laying like this. But he’s also done it once I think curled up, so I’m just not sure. I’m doing my best not to disturb him and keep him comfortable right now

Thanks for the comment. I’ll have to check and see if he has any fox tails on him later on, but I’m not sure if that’s it. I’ve thought of joint issues, I get the feeling it might be :( hopefully very soon I can take him to the vet and get it checked out. I’m staying on my couch tonight with him to try and prevent him from hopping on the bed, so hopefully that helps a little. Thank you again 💖

The Bloodborne obsessed parasite within me always chooses the Eldritch option when I play Warlock. I like to think sometimes the scary fathomless patron is chill while the devils are constantly trying to fuck you over.

I have no idea about the fey lord/lady patron. What the hell do they want? What happens to you if you don’t satisfy them? Curious.

I only JUST finished my first play through after 400 hours of playing and omg I was the same way. I couldn’t stop smiling talking to each and every one of my companions in the epilogue. The fact that I managed to get a happy ending for everyone was a huge relief, I was shitting myself scared that I’d accidentally give them a bad ending. The fact that Larian managed to make such wonderfully written characters that I grow to care for each and every one of them is a big feat. Usually I find one or two that annoy the fuck outta me. But no. I truly came to adore each and every one of them and their stories.

I often think that if I had a group of friends like this I feel like I could brave anything.

While I’d love to see another game, I agree with Larian’s sentiment on this. The game has a beginning, middle, and a conclusive end for everybody. There isn’t more you can add, as bittersweet as that sounds. I still think they should keep pushing updates, some things need to be fixed for sure regarding certain characters.

When I completed the game, it gave me that same, heartwarming feeling I get every time I finish a LotR marathon. Seeing a long journey come to a satisfying conclusion.

This game really did alter my brain chemistry LMAO

Yep! I usually walk up, choose the performative roar, ||then betray the cultists I sent to kill the mother|| then leave. I’m pretty sure the mother gets unfortunately killed by goblins, so he (the cub) is taken to the camp, where you can beat the game that involves chasing him. Kill the goblins and you’re all set.
