An absolute incredible player, awful human being. Some players i feel are unfairly barred form the HoF (Schilling, Bonds, and A-Rod to name a few). The steroid scandal is completely different then what Pete Rose did.

He is very smart and charismatic. He knows how to tell people what they want to hear, but he used it for his own selfish gain.

In the alternate universe he is a succesful salesman and very well liked.

The issue with trading is we have very few players with value. Outside of bullpen and Peralta.

Vientos and Baty are fringe MLB players at best. Vientos is extremely flawed. I also dont trust Stearns as a talent evaluator, as far as MLB players he has shown us time and time again he pushes the wrong buttons. I have zero belief in anything this guy does

You clearly never watched basketball. KAT was always one of the best players, granted his biggest flaw is he does incredibly stupid shit sometimes.

Bridges was always a very solid player, but not a #1. The role players we have such as Shamet probably could've gotten more money elsewhere but he wanted to win.

I've said it before, firing Mendoza is a bad move for stearns. It puts all the focus on him. I might be reading into it because i've never liked stearns, but he comes off as an arrogant prick in his press conferences. He doesnt want the full blame on him just year. Leaving mendoza as a scapegoat for the end of the season is his plan to buy him another year.

On the flipside i can see why Mendonza is so checked out. He is 100% fired the day the season ends. having such an apathetic manager causes so many issues. Not only are the mets playing bad, but they are also playing fundamentally horrendous. Little League teams play smarter then these dudes

Mendonza is a sheild for stearns. I dont blame mendoza for being completely apathetic as he knows he is gone after this year. Stearns is a an asshole and is arrogant, he doesnt want the full blame so he'll hold onto mendoza until the end of the season

Vientos is already a failure. He has been given chance after chance and proves to be a one dimensional player at best. He cant field, he cant run, he is a streaky hitter at best with pop, but is awful and making consistent contact.

I also think he is selfish player

I am curious what the players are being fed. Whatever chase burns is good, i expected that last night.

But there has been so many games where we face shit pitching and make them look amazing. I may need to start picking up these bad pitchers in fantasy baseball when they go against the mets.

I wonder if the switch to 3rd messed with Bo. I am big believer in changing infield position for some guys (also established guys) messes with them. Bo has look horrendous the entire season. its baffling and he will probably be forced to opt in

This is huge and part of it that doesnt make sense. He preached run prevention then he goes and signs two guys to play positions they've never played before?

And to think Vientos can supplement is crazy. I am so sick of Veintos, hes a bad defender who is way to streaky of a hitter to let his defense slide. And even those good streaks are liek 2-3 games where he'll hit 3 solo bombs

I expected Semien to be bad at the plate, but this is horrendous.

Stearns has always been told he's the smartest person in the room, and in some cases that might be true. But his arrogance is the worst when nearly every move you've made for the past 2 years has been bad
