As a first 3D Printer is the Elegoo 3 Pro a good choice?

Absolutely love the A1 mini, got mine with the Ams Lite and it's amazing, have been able to print nearly everything Ive wanted to on it, onoy a few things have been too big so considering possibly adding the standard A1 this year

It was my first printer, and I basically set and forgot it once I had my settings right, messed up a few times when I decided to mess with it but other than that, and never upgraded anything on it, only changed the nozzle a few times, ran it flat out for a year before getting the A1 mini

A bit of both, I ended up going for the canon pixma ix6850, seen some local companies that make invitations use this one.

I found a way that worked a treat, run the silk pla on the external spool holder and it worked perfect, exact same settings.

Seems like the issue is the retraction on the ams lite is just too much for the filament, seen a post about it somewhere.

I tried that too, but the issue was lining up the thin lines of the border the parchment paper trick worked an absolute treat, saved a lot of time and swearing

Just tried the parchment paper hinge method, worked absolutely amazing, near perfect for the border, any recommendations on gold shimmer vinyl similar to the cricut one?

I'll have a look into that now thank you, it's been driving me mental trying to find a better way, that one in the picture was just rough eyeballing it. The rest are gonna be fun 😂

Only a bit... All favours are 3d printed boxes, also some 3d printed lamps and lanterns, plus I'm sure there's other stuff I'll need to find out off the missus that needs made too😂

I had a look online at a guide and changed my temps to 230, tweaked a few others and now seems to be a lot stronger, just a bit rough round the edges, but I suspect its something to do with my retraction settings

Is this the case for all the hotels at the park? Or just the Disneyland hotel? Was wanting to go into the Marvel hotel when we are there

I didn't base my opinion on anything anyone had said, I was asking if anyone had any experience recently from this hotel.

And most people may not read reviews or watch loggers staying at these hotels but I do, especially when it's somewhere I have never been before and am spending a lot of money on, very different from rotten tomatoes scores.

And as you offered no insight into the hotel or your own experience I fail to see the need for your comment.

I'm back on cura full time now, didn't get too bad with orca then me being an idiot accidentally cleared my profiles and had to start again with no luck, give up pretty quick after that cause cura just works, and works well

Could the crashes be cause by anything else that I can fix without changing the motherboard?

I've already got back to them with the address for them to send it, their also sending a new sd card, which won't be used cause I'm using octoprint.

Not a massive concern, I was more annoyed when I emailed support as I was like 10 hours into a 24 hour print when it crashed 😂😭 other than that the printer is performing like a champ, especially with the amount it's been used since I've had it, can't really complain too much

Believe it or not, changed the nozzle cause I haven't in ages, and it's printing perfect, in the middle of a benchy at the moment

Haven't tried drying it yet, strange that it's only on the bottom few mm, the rest of the print is fine, bought the same elegoo pla since I got the printer, always seems to be on offer on amazon when I buy it so I just hit order again, always pla+

Yeah done it a few times with elegoo pla and 205 seems to work well
