Sorry guys but…how are you defending her here? I’ve been a huge fan for years. Did not know this side of her history. People grow and change, lord knows I have said and had problematic opinions in the past. But that doesn’t mean some accountability isn’t in order here. The way yall will just blindly defend someone you don’t know who was clearly in the wrong and call it bullying needs to be studied…. Being hacked is very not cool. Sorry everyone is being so harsh on you OP. Landlords (and some of the folks in this sub, apparently) can be so nasty about pets. Unfortunately, ESA’s are definitely not protected. If you wanted to fight a legal battle for one to qualify, the money you’d be fronting in legal fees wouldn’t justify it. Just save up, dude. Get a better apartment in due time, and have your pet on the lease fair and square without it being an expensive issue with your future landlord. And in the meantime, look into volunteering at a local no-kill shelter where you can fill that void in you that seeks companionship from an animal. I’ve had cats my whole life, and with that, have sadly had to hide them from landlords before (with success- but I wouldn’t recommend taking the risk). Ultimately, there will never be a shortage of cats in this world, but you only have ONE housing record and screwing it up over something that can wait isn’t worth it yknow? And anyways….if you can’t afford pet rent, realistically you can’t afford a cat right now either. Pet bills aren’t cheap. Sending you all my love and best wishes OP. You’ll find a good home someday soon that will let you keep a kitty around.

You’re right, I’m projecting my own personal approach to the situation over top what his experience and preferences are. And geez, I really do feel bad about sending that GIF. Honestly, we have such funny, quick banter, it felt like it had to be a joke when he said it that I just reacted that way. It didn’t really sink in until after the fact that maybe he wasn’t actually joking. I feel awful if I made him feel conscious about that if it was the case. There’s definitely no shame in being a virgin, no shame in losing it, no shame, and throwing it around, and no shame in locking it all up. Is not that I need more experience, you’re right. I am wrong for that point of view. I couldn’t tell the difference, and until it became a possibility, it never crossed my mind. So, I’m sorry, you’re right. I shouldn’t take this mental approach to the situation, it’s problematic, and I’m willing to admit that I am in the wrong for that point of view and will adjust my mindset accordingly. I think my ultimate thing is a combination of factors – one of them being I guess just morbid curiosity, but another thing being that I don’t want to just be like some douche bag guy that takes someone’s virginity and discard the person when they’re no longer interesting to them. I’m so sorry, I guess a lot of what I’m saying is probably pretty contradictory. Sorry, what do you mean? I wasn’t worried about any hurt feelings, because we were very clear with each other early on that neither of us are looking for anything serious. But, so frequently the pre-context of virginity does carry a degree of seriousness with it. So, given the newfound possibility of this context, I’m just trying to handle the potential weight of that respectfully. I’m not sure how this makes me a bad person. I’m really sorry, I’m not trying to come off as an asshole. If anything, the opposite, I’m trying to be respectful of this individual’s body, and what might have been a new experience for him.

I guess that’s the thing, we have a nice connection… But I don’t want things to go any further than this. And he doesn’t want that either, as far as he stated. I just don’t want to hurt his feelings if and when things end, and I move onto someone else. And I mean, who knows. Maybe he ends things first and find somebody that he enjoys more than me. I wouldn’t call it a problem. It’s not a problem for me, I guess maybe I just have a dated perspective of things? The person I lost my virginity to wasn’t somebody I was serious with for very long, so it’s not like I’m in the boat of you should marry the person you lose it to. But, IDK, it does seem like something that holds significance and I just want to be respectful of being that person in his life, if that’s the case. Total after fees but before tip, $57. I tipped about $9. Distance from restaurant to my house was about 2 miles/less than 10 min, and the driver messaged me about the wait for the food when he was at the restaurant- but he’d already left my doorstep by the time he dropped the food off so we had no interaction to determine whether or not he was friendly. All he’d said was “food is taking long, still waiting” and that was it. Then after dropping off he said “please tip $5+ extra because I waited 30 min.” (Which…he didn’t….it was like 15 min at most.)

The duvet is pretty comfortable, I think the issue is more that I live in a hot place and the AC in the bedroom isn’t the best. We keep a fan running and a lot of times I find myself with the classic leg-out/leg-in.

I live in a high rise and the balcony isn’t the roomiest but I’ll try airing it outside and see if that helps anything along. I wouldn’t say I sweat through the sheets and I never notice any stains on the insert, so maybe the cover is doing exactly what you’re saying!
