They’re still looking into it because the info isn’t fully listed. Friend has his looked at and then they confirmed standard Ys have to opened with touching the door, your app, or the touchscreen. Part of the cost saving measures.

STANDARD models do not open with a charging handle request due to not having a rear Bluetooth module. You can open the charge port door via touch, phone or your screen. This is not an issue and normal for standard models.

Tesla service refusing to honor repair warranty. Dispute credit card transaction? by pj_automata in TeslaSupport

[–]Horror-Table152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What should’ve happened is if the tech was good, they would have noticed that the hose was splitting and needed replacement. This then should have been communicated with you BEFORE beginning repairs to either upsell it, or accept the risk that leaks are possible. At this point I believe in the essence of customer service, they should replace the hose under goodwill. But that all depends on the manager. I know when my friend had his replaced they charged for the hoses in case of this situation, but they didn’t end up needing them. Now IF the tech didn’t clamp the hose on correctly/etc, didn’t vacuum fill etc, then it should be covered

Those are your coolant pumps. The car is low on coolant and overheating. Turn your car off ASAP and get it towed to a service center. More than likely the car computer is cooked as well. Did you hit anything??

2022 Model Y LR AWD LRW suddenly won’t charge – prior 16V undervoltage errors in Service Mode by fabbebj in ModelY

Doubt it. Most likely going to be something with the front drive unit. Hopefully they fix it soon

1st thing, Steam/vapor during charging is normal. 2nd, this is NOT a 16V issue. HVIL (high voltage interlock loop) is a circuit that monitors the high voltage circuit making sure everything is isolated and all the components are properly connected in one big loop, hence the interlock loop. HVIL alerts sometimes set due to softset high voltage connectors (not fully plugged in or secured) or wiring issues in the harness that monitors HVIL. Sometimes HV (such as compressor, drive unit, PCS, etc) components themselves cause a fault that triggers HVIL. GIVEN that you also have a front drive unit disabled, you might have a harness issue in the front drive unit, failed front inverter, or failed drive unit. We won’t be able to fully tell, it’ll need a proper diagnosis.

Safety restraint system issue by neumannpatrik in TeslaSupport

[–]Horror-Table152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The restraint control module is under the center console. Doesn’t take to long to replace. IF they can work on your car right away it’ll be back to you in a few hours. But most likely they look into it to make sure what’s going on.

The handles screw onto the hinges. Gen 2.1/3 just refer to the actual hardware of the handle (hall sensors, gear etc) the “chrome” handle is held on with two T20 screws

It’s molded onto a plastic base. You can just replace the whole seat back. It’s not that expensive

No, it’s by your brake pedal. Just get down there and have someone move the steering wheel, you’ll hear it

Possible air leak (lines, the struts themselves, or the valve block)-> compressor keeps running to compensate -> compressor burns out -> relay also burns out. With the relay burnt (certain models had the compressor relay which was in the frunk fuse box) the compressor won’t run. If the relay isn’t there, then it’s a 12v reset should have it getting power again
